I really had fun watchin this one! Good times! Thanks, bro's!
He said, "Put it on the screen." Don't disappoint the man.
So enjoy these older random games. They make me happy and I love that they make you guys happy too :)
This series is just a love letter to the beginning of the Dan era
I love it when yall do random games cuz I use it as like background noise while playing games, like if it was a podcast but I can look at what yall get excited about from time to time
Haha, that "Midair death animation" critique is just like his frustration with Tony Hawk's poor momentum physics and being able to go uphill without kicking.
Afaik in THPS 2, THPS 3 (PS1 and newer consoles), THPS 4, both Underground games and American Wasteland all have your character push off the ground whenever momentum dipped enough. Weird that the newest game only has you kick push off the ground when you start/recovering from an accident (which they cut out most of the animation from)
I adore that dan and arin are sharing this experience with the controller and hyping each other up. Make that dream work.
I love when they choose to play games they really enjoy
I just found out that the chef you play as in this game is named "Cookie" and finding that out just made me love this game a hundred times more
This is such an adorable game!
Just want to say that I loved this play through! You guys should consider savestates for old, super hard games more often! It’s really the only way to see some of these “one-off” type games through heh
The box art gives me that one sonic comic vibes
“Hey kids!”
"Put it on the screen!"
Editor: The revolution begins...
"Dude, my dad's name is Marty right now."
What an absolutely wonderful playthrough. I hope they do more of these! Old games that you can beat in a couple of episodes.
"Eyes on the fries, baby." - Arin Hanson, 2021
This was such a joy to watch!!! Thanks for seeing it through to the end so the rest of us could too x3.
This series is giving me massive nostalgia!! Just two happy boys playing sidescrollers 💕
Donkey kong country, when? 👀
so you want the dan playthrough not the jon playthrough
@@Mowmauf 100%!!
Um, yes. I didn't know they hadn't played DKC.
Metroid 1 as well, please!
I love when they pull games off the wall like this. It’s always a treat, regardless of how the gameplay is.
Here are some other old NES games with a touch of old fashion charm: Rocking Cats, Moon Crystal, Whomp'Em, and Stanley and the Search for Dr. Livingstone.
They played whomp em.
@@antonlowe5370 Hmm. What about Cocoron?
Doki Doki literature club + came out a few days ago, and you guys need to play it. It not only has better graphics, but there are also some side stories you can do for extra endings. Also, it would be fun to see dan’s reaction to it, as well as maybe the return of friendarin and his potatoes
0:08 Great, now every time I hear a weird censor sound on their channel I'm gonna be reminded of the Tony Hawk: Pro Skater episode.
I think this is one of my favorite play throughs ever. It's nice when you both get to play and get hella invested, like with Doki Doki or Wheel of Fortune. I'm glad you guys can play in the same room again too! Ilyyy 💖💖💖💖 (I also just bought the new shirt and can't wait for it to come in)
I'm upset that the box art was not put on the screen. 🥺
It's so great to hear the boys be this happy. There's only one thing that could have made this any better. You know what it is. Wolfjob.
