I love how the exposition of the tv news reporting about zombie attacks had absolutely nothing to do with the plot about some guy with stunning bladder control, interdimensional porcelain & an owl that can astral project
i love this game because the more you play it the more you realize all of those things are just really interesting eye-grabbing distractions from your objective. You hear on the news that the 4th zombie outbreak has happened and you want to stand around and listen so your time runs out
Even better is you hear someone named will on the news, possibly implicating that it's the same will who set up the fake toilet in the bathroom. This lore is so deep.
Of course it's plot relevant! It's the reason he couldn't just go outside to pee, obviously

The thought of desperately holding in a pee, and having something like an owl fly through a window, and subsequently having to deal with cleaning up my pee AND the portal owl is legit scarier then most horror game scenarios.

The name of this game reminds me of the time that I found an interestingly named book in my university's library. I went to the library to study, but all the seats were full, so I went to a random aisle next to a wall with an outlet and just sat down. I looked up at the bookshelf at one point and saw a bright yellow book whose spine ominously said "Don't pee..." Turns out, it was the book "Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining" by Judge Judy, but I guess it got abbreviated for the library's copy. And turned yellow.
I like to think whoever made this game made it about the player slowly turning into a zombie and then the night before they uploaded the game they sleepwalked over to their computer and made it entirely about not peeing your pants.
