I love Guanajuato! I visited in late 2020.. and after that it inspired me to travel to all the places I’d always wanted to visit. Since then I’ve visited most of Western Europe and Canada! I grew up in the US, but I was born in Zacatecas!! Although the cities are both beautiful, I love how colorful Guanajuato is.. that’s the tie breaker! :) Thank you for this video! It brings back amazing memories. I travel to Mexico a lot and hopefully next year I’ll revisit Guanajuato City. I was just in Mexico a few weeks ago. Have a great day!
That's so awesome! Where have you been in Europe? Going to Italy in a few months! Amazing! Zacatecas is not far at from Guanajuato! I am glad you shared this comment. México is an amazing place & for many of us, a completely different world full of beauty. Have an awesome day & hope you can visit Guanajuato again soon!!
The reason I visited Guanajuato was because my cousin was living in León and I decided to stay in Gto. for the weekend, it was the best decision I ever made! After that I started planning my next trip and then 2020 hit (I visited Gto. in 2019, my bad). I’ve been to BEL, DE, ES, FR, IT, PT, MALTA, NED, UK.. & VC all in the last four years. When you’re in Italy you can’t miss Rome and Florence, both places are amazing! My favorite place was Cinque Terre! Stunning views. Overall my favorite country in Europe is Spain though! I can’t describe it, but I feel at peace in Spain.. all the regions I’ve visited are amazing though. I’m already planning my next trip to Spain, for late summer.. I also wanna re-visit Italy and maybe add Greece this time! :) I was in San Miguel de Allende last year.. so very close to Gto, but I try to maximize my time and prioritize new places for now. I was in SMA for Día de Muertos. The only place I go back to all the time is Puerto Vallarta (beach) and Zacatecas (family).. if you get the chance visit Andalucía! That place is life changing. Especially Alhambra in Granada. :) Safe travels!
Thank you so much! Glad you liked the video. Hope you get the chance to visit Mexico, it's a beautiful country full of beautiful people. Greetings from Texas!
I live in San Diego, so all I ever hear about is how "Tijuana, and Baja California state, have the highest murder rate per capita of ANYWHERE on earth". Or how Tijuana annually "wins" for most murders in the world. Really? More than Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo? Where cartels are also insane and post violent executions online… but this whole TJ and Baja thing, and apparently Guanajuato too, seems a bit… blown out of proportion. Oh wait, I thought Sinaloa was the scariest? No? Jalisco? No? Michoacán? Ciudad Juárez is the most violent city in the world, I thought, no? 😂 I swear, too many conflicting news reports… Bad things can happen anywhere. And they do. I hate how people act like just because this is America, Europe, Australia, or even Japan or Singapore, we are somehow beyond the scope of anything nefarious, dangerous, shady or otherwise bad happening. If anything, the underground and criminal networks are even shadier in these "first world" countries because people act like they’re living such cushy lives… yes, we have a lot to be thankful for, but don’t act like there’s not a whole black market, dark web, & hidden underworld EVERYWHERE… in countries like Mexico, a lot of the crimes are very public and everyone knows about it, because the criminals are irreverent and give zero f*cks. They usually want to send a message. But here, in the US for example, most criminals are trying to be as secretive as possible… meaning more goes on than meets the eye. So I don’t care what state or city in Mexico they say is the dangerous one. I go to TJ to the dentist and doctor and speak fluent Spanish. No issues. It’s so nice being close to the international border!
@@ErikAndrew-q2p BOOM! Could not have said it better myself! Thank you for this comment. There are dangerous places everywhere you go. Do your research before you go, try to speak the language & educate yourself on the place you are going. Chicago has spots worse than many places in Mexico.. but also has very nice places.
