The Dark Aztec History of Mexico's Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos)
When people talk about the USA they never mention how violent and unsafe is!! Mexico is safer than the USA! They talk about Mexico and always ask if it is safe, how violent it is??? It’s the cartels don’t mess up with them and you should be ok!😀
Gracias por el análisis! Solo una pregunta fuera de tema: Mi billetera OKX contiene USDT y tengo la frase de recuperación. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). ¿Podrías explicar cómo moverlos a Binance?
Day of the dead is a mixture of Christian culture mix with Aztec culture the original culture in Europe it was called Momento Mori, which means remember that you must die and then when they came, Catholicism came over to Mexico. It was mixed with Aztec beliefs creating Day of the dead
Interesante video por un guapo joven
Nice video but the music sounds rather Spanish than Mexican
The Spanish Christians were just as bad as the so called white Christian slavers
Gotta go go visit the old country, where mama and papa are from🇲🇽🌮🙀
Highly recommend it, so much beauty and history there
I watched because Nash's so hot 🔥
I live in San Diego, so all I ever hear about is how "Tijuana, and Baja California state, have the highest murder rate per capita of ANYWHERE on earth". Or how Tijuana annually "wins" for most murders in the world. Really? More than Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo? Where cartels are also insane and post violent executions online… but this whole TJ and Baja thing, and apparently Guanajuato too, seems a bit… blown out of proportion. Oh wait, I thought Sinaloa was the scariest? No? Jalisco? No? Michoacán? Ciudad Juárez is the most violent city in the world, I thought, no? 😂 I swear, too many conflicting news reports… Bad things can happen anywhere. And they do. I hate how people act like just because this is America, Europe, Australia, or even Japan or Singapore, we are somehow beyond the scope of anything nefarious, dangerous, shady or otherwise bad happening. If anything, the underground and criminal networks are even shadier in these "first world" countries because people act like they’re living such cushy lives… yes, we have a lot to be thankful for, but don’t act like there’s not a whole black market, dark web, & hidden underworld EVERYWHERE… in countries like Mexico, a lot of the crimes are very public and everyone knows about it, because the criminals are irreverent and give zero f*cks. They usually want to send a message. But here, in the US for example, most criminals are trying to be as secretive as possible… meaning more goes on than meets the eye. So I don’t care what state or city in Mexico they say is the dangerous one. I go to TJ to the dentist and doctor and speak fluent Spanish. No issues. It’s so nice being close to the international border!
@@ErikAndrew-q2p BOOM! Could not have said it better myself! Thank you for this comment. There are dangerous places everywhere you go. Do your research before you go, try to speak the language & educate yourself on the place you are going. Chicago has spots worse than many places in Mexico.. but also has very nice places. Greetings from TX! Riverside county is where I grew up 🫡
Handsome 😍😍😍
Soy de león y me encanta la estética del templo expiatorio
No more dangerous than usa 😅 shootings in schools ,churches etc
Random school shootings doesn't happen in Mexico 🤷♂️ it 100% has dangerous spots but so does everywhere
Holy Cow! i love your videos. i’m mex-american and never been to mexico. i will find my way there soon. love from las vegas nv.

Guanajuato, fascinating!. One of the 35 world heritage sites in Mexico recognized by UNESCO. The country with the largest number in America. Nice vid!
So much beauty in México & Guanajuato. I feel lucky to have traveled much of it. Thanks so much for your comment!
I love Guanajuato! I visited in late 2020.. and after that it inspired me to travel to all the places I’d always wanted to visit. Since then I’ve visited most of Western Europe and Canada! I grew up in the US, but I was born in Zacatecas!! Although the cities are both beautiful, I love how colorful Guanajuato is.. that’s the tie breaker! :) Thank you for this video! It brings back amazing memories. I travel to Mexico a lot and hopefully next year I’ll revisit Guanajuato City. I was just in Mexico a few weeks ago. Have a great day!
That's so awesome! Where have you been in Europe? Going to Italy in a few months! Amazing! Zacatecas is not far at from Guanajuato! I am glad you shared this comment. México is an amazing place & for many of us, a completely different world full of beauty. Have an awesome day & hope you can visit Guanajuato again soon!!
The reason I visited Guanajuato was because my cousin was living in León and I decided to stay in Gto. for the weekend, it was the best decision I ever made! After that I started planning my next trip and then 2020 hit (I visited Gto. in 2019, my bad). I’ve been to BEL, DE, ES, FR, IT, PT, MALTA, NED, UK.. & VC all in the last four years. When you’re in Italy you can’t miss Rome and Florence, both places are amazing! My favorite place was Cinque Terre! Stunning views. Overall my favorite country in Europe is Spain though! I can’t describe it, but I feel at peace in Spain.. all the regions I’ve visited are amazing though. I’m already planning my next trip to Spain, for late summer.. I also wanna re-visit Italy and maybe add Greece this time! :) I was in San Miguel de Allende last year.. so very close to Gto, but I try to maximize my time and prioritize new places for now. I was in SMA for Día de Muertos. The only place I go back to all the time is Puerto Vallarta (beach) and Zacatecas (family).. if you get the chance visit Andalucía! That place is life changing. Especially Alhambra in Granada. :) Safe travels!
🙋♂️Hey, I loved your video. GTO. , is my home state. Greetings from San Bernardino county, CA‼️
Thank you very much Julian! Your home state is beautiful 🙏 Saludos from Texas! Riverside county is where I'm from though 👍
Imagine thinking you can get away with invading such a densely populated country full of Mexican patriots that have fire ruining thru their veins willing to defend our territory by all means…. Just like we have always done
Don't mess with Mexicanos!
@ that’s right. Btw you didn’t really capture leon. You missed the city center with the mushrooms manicured trees 🍄
You're good at this! Informative and entertaining
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it 👍 it's a learning process, but I hope I can keep improving each video for you. Have an awesome day!

Good video, thanks for the publicity hehe. Those two mountains are volcanoes, actually.
Hi, was smog/air pollution bothersome?
It depends on how accustomed you are to big cities. For me, it didn't affect me much but some days it may. The elevation is actually what I felt more. Going up and down stairs can be tiresome & you may feel nausea when arriving because CDMX is over 7000ft in elevation. Thanks for your comment! Hope you get to visit
Amazing video! I am planning to do this in early January of 2025. Do you think I can complete the whole route in a single day if I start at around 8AM? I wouldn't say I am athletic, but I do 7km runs three times a week if that will help.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it. You can definitely finish in one day. I recommend if you get the chance to stay the night though, you should. There's a lot of cool stuff on the islands with almost no tourists. But otherwise you should be able to finish in one day. Just bring food & water and you'll be good. My guess is it will take you about 6-8 hours. You'll be tired, but there should be showers in either imabari or onomichi. Thanks so much for your comment! Good luck!
@@nashsworldThank you for the information, I will definitely consider staying overnight at one of those islands. By the way, I am also planning on renting my bike from Giant store - how many days in advance did you book the bicycles? My trip will be in early January, and I was thinking of booking the bicycles a week before so I can check the weather forecast.
Excelente❤
Not Aztec, Mexica. Me as in Metro, xi as in She is amazing, ca as in cartoon.❤

The biggest City in America; not Americas America is a continent from Canada to Argentina
I just need to do some fact-checking: 1. Mexico City has not an "aztec" past; there were several peoples in the area like Chichimecas, Toltecas, Cuicuilco, Chalco, Culhuacán, Tenayuca and Azcapotzalc before the aztec migrants arrived to that place, and even by that time, they did'n identified themselves as Aztec but with the denonym Mexicas, which includes the originary peoples of the valley until the colonizers came. PLEASE STOP USING AZTEC FOR EVERYTHING. 2. Chapultepec is not a park. It is a natural forest that got enclosed and preserved as a park with open and closed areas.
I liked the edition and your information about Mexico, congratulations and I like to watch these types of videos, greetings from TX. 🇲🇽 🇺🇸

Currently looking at a few properties in Condesa love the area but very expensive for what you get $15 million pesos and up most properties are between $18 - $30 million pesos! or $800k to $1.5 million usd some are as much as $10 million dollars! the prices are 3x what they were only 15 years ago!
Its a really nice area but with so many foreigners moving in, the prices have skyrocketed. You may have better luck in Coyoacán. La condesa is still great, just unaffordable. The 3x is no joke! I bet more with some of the properties there
0:55 Teotihucan wasn't aztec (or mexica). The mexica people called that ruins Teotihuacan ("birthplace of the gods", or "place where gods were born" in Nahuatl) when they found them around 1000 years after that city was abandoned.
0:55 worked for good footage though 😃
