Well all good things have to come to an end as they say and what an epic ending it was, it has to be up there as one of the most scenic roads in the World. It's sad that that area is steeped in the darkness of the past, then centuries later the spirit of darkness returned Big Time 😢 That house was visited by our present King, I hope folk keep that in mind when they celebrate his Coronation. Jim fixed it alright, so they made him a knight 😕😤👎

Many want that house demolished but you can't demolish it's horror from the past. Still today anyone linked to the Clan McDonald has a passionate distrust often boarding on hatred for the Campbell's. Thanks for watching and commenting Chris. 👍🏻 I believe there are plans to demolish it and replace it, but I think there’s some planning issues regarding the nature of what would be built in its place. Sad thing is it’s original owner before Saville was a famous mountaineer I believe, so the idea is to leave something of the original buildings there in honour of him.

One of the most beautiful roads that one can do on a motorcycle, I have great memories of that day of my trip to Scotland
