I met a lady at church who answered every one of my questions, "What does God say?" I didn't know, after month, I forced myself to sit and read the Bible and then just like that answers to nearly all my questions were being revealed in every book-mind blowing, still is. At the time, I was so angry at the married "other women" who ended my marriage. Her name "Grace" how ironic!! this word was a massive trigger for me and it was everywhere couldn't escape it! The thought of forgiving her was inconceivable to me. One day while driving (after a couple years of extreme hate) I relented and told God your word says to forgive but if I tell you that I forgive her, it's lip service, I'm only doing it only out of obedience to your Word, I can't say it and mean it..... immediately, God dropped in my spirit, "Let's start there." A locked door opened the next day with a life changing opportunity. From that moment on, anytime her name came to mind, I thanked God for reminding me to pray for her. Literally, within days, grace word was no longer a trigger. My hostile hatred and vengenace towards her turned into genuine forgiveness praying blessings for her that I should have prayed for myself. It's been 10 years since forgiving her and I still pray for her on occasion and the prayer is from a place of agape. Forgiveness is the KEY that unlocked my prison. It took a year after reading John Bevere's book "The Bait of Satan." He was right, as right, offense and unforgiveness are the bait of satan to get us out of obedience with God.

Thank you for the reminder. I have been hurt for 3 years. I thought i had forgiven, but i hadn't. I took it back after being attacked yet again a year later by the same person, a family member. To this day, I was still walking on eggshells and avoiding her... 😢 in the meantime i have become bitter complaining and legalistic. Not pretty in a Christian at all. I have now prayed for forgiveness and i gave it to Jesus. If it comes up in my head, I'm just going to say No, Jesus is holding that, i laid it at his feet. Bless His holy, glorious name. 👐👐👐🎉 I'm free. I'm forgiven.
I can attest to that. When my mom quoted that scripture to me when I was hurt so badly by those whom I thought were friends. I was upset and the Lord brought me to a place in my life after I rejected that advice for a week or two. I finally said, Lord i can’t but you can through me. So I started blessing those who hurt me and my enemies and they didn’t change but i did. I thanked my mom and told her she was right.

Thank You Jesus Followers for opening your hearts because So many, like you & me struggle with this issue. It takes time to let go of the hurtful memories after you forgive but with God...
Forgiveness used to be one of my greatest strengths until I got betrayed by a best friend and boyfriend. Unforgiveness held me hostage for so long! It’s one of the hardest things that I’ve had to do is forgive.
I love you.
I have done this, and partially still do. I gave my life to Jesus because I wanted to become a better person holistically, but satan sometimes keeps reminding me of the wrong things or bad decisions and habits I have done. Nevertheless, I can say I handle it better now since as much as it shakes me, my firmness and trust is in our God.
I do get it.
I just recently learned that forgives is a decision, but also out of obediente to God I did it, the moment I did it after dragging it for 25+ to do it - it felt so good, freedom a big burden taken away. And he heals you too.
We need to hear this message on forgiveness often to remind ourselves and each other. Unforgiveness can become a real snare, and potentially ship wreck your faith and walk with the Lord if we don't deal with it. Thank you again ladies, always a word in season.❤

May 11 2018 few days before mothers day. My ten year old fell at school hit his head. I took him to the hospital for assessment. They discharged him within 30 mins . I took him home. Within an hour I rushed him back... Doctors negligence. Didn't bother reading the x-ray he had a fractured skull. They denied me a CT scan.
They got off because of a corrupt government in Cyprus. I forgive them but I did tell the doctor at court vengeance belongs to the Lord. The whole case was a set up. My son died that day

Joseph's spirit was right in the beginning. He forgave right from the start. It's why he had the favor of God along the path. I think Joseph understood nothing could touch his life except God put it (allowed it) there for a purpose.

Three yrs after I was married, I got saved but my husband didn't I stayed for 11 1/2 yrs. I prayed for him to get saved, all the time. He cheated on me multiple times. The Lord led me out of that, "marriage." Even After the divorce, I still prayed for his salvation. & I Chose to forgive him the Whole time, bcz, I tho't : What if he gets saved at the last minute B4 he dies," ??!!!!! If that happens, I'll have to spend Eternity with him anyway ," !!!! And when we Choose to forgive, we may not Feel like we forgave. But we walk by FAITH, not by Feelings!!! & If he's in Heaven now, then he's a New Creature, so I probabley won't even recognize him !!! 💗💗💗

None of them shared a personal testimony, they mostly made reference to Bible stories of forgiveness. We do have to forgive, but it is much harder for Folks who's young children who raped, sodomized, murdered and You had to see your poor baby in that way, the last image. There are many people who live with that kind of pain and despair. Or women raped and beaten, for a Mother and Father to see Their 18 yr old daughter's dead body with both of Her breast cut off. Apparently they had no seriously hard gut wrenching experiences, so they used Bible stories instead
But if any of those horrible things had been their reality, God forbid, they would find it much much harder to simply forgive. It takes time , and even giving it to God, some pain is just harder to let go of.

There is safety in a multitude of councelors. I believe the relatiionship you are involved with is an assignment from Satan to take down your ministry. I dont usually reach out to strangers (but we are the body of Christ) I had a full blown vision from the Lord a few years back....The Holy Spirit showed me several types of Demons and I saw Satan....In Satan's hand was a ball of light..The Lord promised me the victory...and said to me.."In Satan's hand, are the children of light make Satan drop the ball and disperse the Light." I truly believe, the Lord is warning you NOT to Marry this man.

That happened to me. I caught my ex husband and a friend of mine having sex in my bedroom. I forgave him and we stayed together another 3 years and then her husband left her to "become a woman" so she was free so my ex husband left me for her. They got married a few months after our divorce. We have been divorced now for 3 years and I still struggle.
