It was an awful time, yet there was beauty in the experience. Neighbors set-up our tree for the kids. Grateful for their kindness and God's mercy.

I don't celebrate Christmas but I still enjoyed your home tour. Was able to get some inspiration on how to display glass and crystal pieces on my furniture and not just stick them all in a cabinet. All your home is lovely, but my especially favorite display was on top of your baby grand piano.
Awww, thanks for mentioning the piano. We usually feature gold framed photos with old family photos. Some of these date back over 100 years. Will rearrange after Christmas and add more crystal. Yes, bring out that glass and crystal to let it shine. 🌟

Thanks for your sweet message. I understand how Christmas can be challenging. In 2007, I moved into the hospice to be with my mother, who was in a coma after a tragedy overseas. Our neighbors set-up our tree (old style-branch by branch), which was a true act of kindness. This time of year is bittersweet, but I choose joy. Wishing you a happy heart this Christmas. 🎄❤️

Oh so many things beautiful where do I start, lol. The Limoges trinket boxes, Jeweled Christmas Tree and Quilled tree are my favorite so far. Had no idea it came apart and that it had a purpose. When a German relative gifted me with one, it then became clear and I started a collection. You might just find some at your local resale.

I don't celebrate Christmas but I still enjoyed your home tour. Was able to get some inspiration on how to display glass and crystal pieces on my furniture and not just stick them all in a cabinet. All your home is lovely, but my especially favorite display was on top of your baby grand piano.
Awww, thanks for mentioning the piano. We usually feature gold framed photos with old family photos. Some of these date back over 100 years. Will rearrange after Christmas and add more crystal. Yes, bring out that glass and crystal to let it shine. 🌟

The joy and love for the season is so obvious. I started watching this Christmas segment with a heavy heart just from the turmoils of the day, but in no time found myself smiling at your joyous smile. It just warms my heart to see all the love you put into Christmas.
Thanks for your sweet message. I understand how Christmas can be challenging. In 2007, I moved into the hospice to be with my mother, who was in a coma after a tragedy overseas. Our neighbors set-up our tree (old style-branch by branch), which was a true act of kindness. This time of year is bittersweet, but I choose joy. Wishing you a happy heart this Christmas. 🎄❤️

Oh so many things beautiful where do I start, lol. The Limoges trinket boxes, Jeweled Christmas Tree and Quilled tree are my favorite so far. I now know what to look for on the incense burners, never knew what they were. I think everything was so festive and have wonderful holidays to you and your family from Tucson Arizona

Had no idea it came apart and that it had a purpose. When a German relative gifted me with one, it then became clear and I started a collection. You might just find some at your local resale.
