This was a great win and performance from Chris Eubank Junior. To be fair when Eubank let's his hands go like this there are few who can match his conditioning and stamina, it's a dangerous way to fight but if you have that something extra in the tank and are brave enough to unleash it at the right time when an opponent is feeling the pace then it can prove a huge asset. Eubank fought to an excellent game plan here, set a fast pace from the opening bell, timed his aggresion well and his punches even better.
Yildirim looks improved since this showing but even so his performance Vs Canelo this weekend still provides an interesting opportunity to gauge the legitimacy of a potential Eubank / Canelo fight somewhere down the line . . .

I feel a lot of people down play Jr's talent level as a fighter and are quick to say well he got to where he is at because of his father being a hall of fame Champion boxer but to me that is too easy to say. If Chris Eubank Jr had another last name and was a totally different guy doing the things that he is doing then most would be praising this guys performances and talent level. He would get criticism as well ....nobody is going to go through a career without it....but I feel because of the Eubank name people are very quick to over criticize Chris and dismiss him as a fighter.

Is very easy to see from the eye test that none of these fighters can hold a candle to Canelo. David has skill no doubt but He’s already shown multiple times that he lacks the discipline to be a champ. He’ll end up just like kov if he were to step in with Canelo.
