I have a full head of hair now I'm 67, I live in Bangkok. I did have a thinning bald spot but had a hair transplant last year on my crown. I'm very pleased with the results. Also had PRP treatment.
You are a good barber. I respect barber's like yourself and for over 25 years have told them "do whatever you think would look best".
As a barber, I very much agree with (and strive to give) the cut being styled only "with a spray bottle and a comb." The client's hair should work for them, not fight them every morning.

Hey Bruno...Have had the same hairstyle for 5 years...1 blade on top....half blade .5 fade or taper on the side...looks best in the summer with a tan head...no maintenance...no showering just to style my hair...feels good to be free from the tyranny of hair...but also know that the shape of my head works with this cut...Great advise...happy 4th enjoy your Philadelphia Freedom...talk soon Bro!

Hello Gray Bailey. I wash my hair with shampoo every 3 days. On the rest of the days I just rinse my hair with water. I've noticed dry flakes coming frm my scalp. I'm not sure if it's dry scalp skin or dandruff. How can I tell the difference?
George, does the Andis slim line pro cut closer than a Wahl Senior? I bought a ws plus all the attachments just for my beard. I know it might be overkill but I love the way it works and it does a great job. It definitely doesn't shave close enough to shave my face and I was wondering if the slim line cuts even closer. I would also be able to do my lines with it.

Great tips for some one with 3 sons 3 nephews and always lumbered with cutting their hair, all in there 30s now but lockdown choices are shave it off or grow it out , like grizzly Adams , thankyou , great tips , and I don't like using a lot of product either.

George, what do you do with a cowlick? I have one right at the front of my dang head!!!! It grows toward the back instead of forward like the rest of my hair. It makes shorter haircuts difficult!

This is my haircut. I’m just under 6’8” tall. Very long neck. I’m growing my beard out so the stylist has something to work with. I do use clubman tonics.

Yes indeed! Been buzzing with bald clippers since 21, my gf met me bald and shaved and she loves it. Woman give me much more attention when freshly trimmed than with the fuzz. And my confidence skyrockets when buzzed. Can’t do a razor because of skin psoriasis but I will never not shave my head. Changed my life from trying to hide and conceal my thinning and receding

I just did a Bruce Willis and shaved my head. Now I just take a trimmer and burr cut my hair as short as it will go about once or twice a week.

A question, how should I taper the back when someone likes say a four on the sides and back? A lot of times I'll do a sissor over comb to shorten the bottom so there's not a distinct line or I will take out weight using a two up to a four. Is there any tips you can give me? I love doing mens cuts, and enjoyed your video.
A taper goes from skin to a 2 and NEVER above the ear lobe line or up the occipital lobe. Rock the clippers out immediately.

Hi there, thanks for the great advice. I found your channel through pipe smoking but this video is perfect for me. I’ve also been having a receding hairline since I was 21 and I’m 31 now. I also have always had very fine blonde hair, although it’s somewhat dirty blonde or ruddy blonde now. I usually ask for a haircut that is 1 inch on the sides and back and 2 inches on top. I wanna try this haircut you recommend next time I go to the barber, one problem though is I have scalp psoriasis to the extent where there has even been some hair loss/thinning above my ears and at my sideburns. I usually avoid a taper because I’m trying to cover this unevenness up slightly. Do you still think I should ask for a taper or what advice would you give me? I'm 27 now and my hair started thinning out at 24/25, i used to put shit in my hair all the time but i literally hate putting anything in it now, i think short dry hair is the best way to go if your hairs thinned or if you use anything maybe just some light styling powder or something like that
Try shaving it!!! If you have a nice head it will change your life and confidence I promise you. I don’t even use a razor, just balding clippers. Shut changed my life getting rid of that receding fuzz

Back in the 70's/80's in the UK it was a choice of a tapered neck or a square neck. Other than that you were getting a short back and sides, and that was it....haha
George may I suggest Propecia small amount of the drug Proscar which blocks bhp that male pattern baldness and bph . Also , Biotin 10,000 mcg is helpful .

I have been around salons in the past as an Esthetician and know what they should be doing. Ugh. Too many beauty school dropouts down here in Austin TX.
