Incredible tribute, truly. Obviously the playing was spectacular (voicing, phrasing, mallet choice, tone, everything), but what made the performance so profound for me was how emotionally invested you were and how evidently moved you were by every note you played. The fantastic production quality really just brought it all together. Bravo, congrats on creating such a beautiful piece of art.

From my little island was the first marimba piece I heard someone perform... one of the teachers at Baldwin Wallace summer band camp played it and even though I was a flute player at the time, I fell in love with marimba and eventually would up in drum corps and WGI playing marimba. I only wish I had more opportunities to play
