You are all very lucky. My biological father never wanted much to do with me or my sister. Left when we were 2 and came back in when I was 12 and kicked us out of his life again when we were 14 though that is a moot point as at that point, he made it clear that his new family was more important than us it’s been 25 years and still to this day I have not seen him since.

The little hams are adorable. When you held the piglet like a baby took me back to my childhood. I’d play with the little pigs and hold them like that. They were so much better than playing with dolls.

I hate to admit, but I laughed when the pig touched the electric fence. A fun video. Got to see new piglets, big pigs, silly cows and the nice new trailer. The little boar with the new piglet was especially cute. And Dad and Hill too!

Pete, we are happy you invested in a new trailer that will be very efficient hauling animals to the butcher. The new piglets sure look healthy and will do fine as they put on the pounds. Billy the boar will be a good addition in your pig breeding rotation.

I am so glad that you take your father with you. Every 10 years my oldest brother came to visit from the west coast or Hawaii but he never took his dad even when visiting the farm in Berkshire, which was dad's second farm, when he visited....I think you are not only giving yourself new memories but to your father -- a present.
Another fine example of farmers doing what needs to be done. Respect your vehicle budget, get pigs to raise, work with dad n wife and face winter's snow and cold to come. Keep critters fed and warm and enjoy your life. Gratitude for life.

Nice looking little ones, they sure are cute. I like your pick on the sow, I like that color scheme. That trailer is a good investment, when we first started with cattle we rented one, ran $45 for four hours and lots of paper work. After a few times of that we invested in a 14' horse/stock trailer for $1295, used. That was over 20 years ago and we still have it, that was a good buy. Great video, loved it, thanks Pete and I hope you and your family have a great weekend.

wow, that is a nice looking trailer. It will haul some good sized animals. Love that you are having more pigs on the farm. I kinda am fond of them. My precious Mom and Dad, both gone now, but they raised 2 pigs, many, many years ago. The pigs names were "Grunta" and "Oosha".......funny, how memories like that are so vivid. Hey Pete, the batch of piglets and the new trailer look good! I’m from Pennsylvania and just like you all up in New York, road salt is an inevitable thing this time of year. It may not be a bad idea to do some type of undercoat on the trailer. That could give you quite a few more years out of it. Keep the videos coming!

Love the interaction with Hillary. It makes for more intertainment in the videos. Love pigs. When I was about 10 years old, I had a pink colored one that followed like a dog. I forget how many pounds but a lot. It could knock me over. Everyone needs an experience like I had. Appreciate life more.
