For anyone wondering, I modeled these stators for Jared Little bit in depth here, I had Nascar send me the .stl for the version 4 stators, and made several improvements both visually and mechanically, I'm so glad these improvements made the siren perform better than ever! Nascar when you see this, you should upload the of the chopper assembly running so more people can see it outside the tube
I decided im just gonna leave it with he partial horn. Adding the final section doesnt make hardly anything of a difference. And i really dont think ill get the weight to be manageable for it. Instead, im printing an improved horn assembly demetrius made for me that goes with the improved chopper assembly already in it. Horn will stay shortened. Demetrius improved the stators, and im gonna improve the rotors
Nah, the mk1 has a much smaller horn, and it being a tube means all of the mechanical innards have their weight centered directly over the blower pipe. So i think that one should have plenty of weight to counteract the horn@liamwaldrup
@Mariaaguello After seeing pictures of inside the ports from one of the greenville hurricane owners, i realized the port opening is larger. I originally thought it was 12 port sized. No it is more like 10 port sized. Demetrius also added more detail to the stator and made the outlet hole to scale and centered like the real one. And the port size change also resulted in more proper windmill!
