Hi there! Murasaki means purple in Japanese, hence the name of those potatoes! In Japan, grocery stores often sell individual roasted potatoes (served warm) under a heat lamp in a paper bag to eat as a snack during late fall/winter months. I need to buy a few of those and make my own! I've got to pick up that "Spicy Taco Sauce", I didn't know TJ's had it and since seeing how you and Nate love it, I need to give it a try too! Thank you for showing all your grocery hauls, I love watching them! :)
Nate's adorable personality makes up for his baby mouth!!!! You are a lucky girl! but so am I. And my husband has a " 10 yr old " mouth, meh... He can handle some spicy food ( He's from Buffalo, NY) but I slice jalapenos on my breakfast sandwiches like they were tomatoes :) I don't know what is it about your videos but they are fun, down to earth and always make me feel happier. Thank you so much. Much Love and Peace from Upstate NY.
Kim!!! TJs sells vegan ranch in the refrigerator section next to the salads 🥬They also have caesar, spicy cashew, and a carrot/turmeric kind that are all vegan. 🌱
I miss the the vegan ranch dip they used to carry. It wash my favorite vegetable dip ever!! If I could bring back one item they discontinued it’d be that ranch dip 😢
Never thought micro greens on avocado toast, I love them on sandwiches 🥪. I never tried their vegan Ceasar dressing. Love Japanese sweet potatoes, they have more fiber. I need a trader Joe's run. Pumpkin vinegar, I would make a salad dressing. Good to know about the rolls being vegan. I love the frozen small French bread, love the edamane both in pods and shelled.
Me in desperate NEED of a vegan grocery haul, and I know who will deliver, so I just searched for “Kimberly vegan” and you always come up that way 😂💚Thank you for sharing and being my lunch company 😊 Love from Johanne, Norway 🇳🇴
Yah, the riced cauliflower stir fry IS very good and not a sodium bomb like so many of their frozen/prepared foods....I add steamed edamame beans to it. Sadly, the microgreens are not sold in our Naples, FL store....at all.
see I think I had heard that Florida was one of the areas that didn't have the microgreens! total bummer!!! I LOVE adding edamame to sooo many things! I feel like it makes things soooo filling too!
TJ just recently changed the formula for the cinnamon rolls, crescent rolls and biscuits so that they are now organic. I had the cinnamon rolls this weekend and didn’t notice any difference but it had been a while since we had the earlier version. Good news is that the biscuits are now vegan too. I couldn’t find the chicken and cauliflower rice stir fry at my store either. I suspect it may be a little different than the cauliflower stir fry because it has pineapple too. But maybe it’s the same with just those two things added. I’m sure it will be good! I liked the samonesque spread but it’s not my favorite - probably because I’m not a big fan of oil/starch blend spreads and cheeses. (I really like nut based ones though!). I didn’t find it to be all that fishy, but more so smoky so I’d say give it a try along with Nate. I am trying to find ways to use it up and one I liked was using it in place of Mayo on a BLT. It seemed to work fine as it was creamy and the smokiness worked with the bacon. Hope you have a good week!
Nice haul! My favorite bbq sauce from TJs is their sriracha roasted garlic one. I still need to try that spicy taco sauce. My guy doesn’t like spicy, either, so it sounds like he may be ok with this one. I’m on my second container of the salmonesque spread. I use it on bagels. It doesn’t taste fishy to me; it’s more smoky with a little tang from the capers. My mom would make salmon patties, & I did not like them. So, I really don’t think this is fishy like those. It actually reminds me more of this cheeseball my mom would make with cream cheese, worcestershire, chipped beef, garlic & onion powders, & green onions. However, there are no green onions in this salmonesque spread, & of course, this is supposed to mimic salmon, not chipped beef. You may actually like this on bagels or with crackers. I plan to try the Spanish rice; although, I make Mexican rice frequently, as it’s so easy. I may give in & try the bulgogi soon; however, I never really enjoyed steak much. Have a great week!
Thank you so much for this feedback on the spread! That cheeseball your mom made sounds really really good!! That brings my back now that you said cheeseball too! I remember the cheddar ones that had like an almond coating on them!? do you remember what I'm talking about?! lol Honestly you may not be the biggest fan of the bulgogi! seriously, it's pretty dang similar! lol
Love the vegan ranch salad. I add either chickpeas or chopped tofu to it Delicious!! I live in Reno and our Traders haven't had regular dried apricots only the Turkish. NOT THE SAME FLAVOR :(

You could use the pumpkin vinegar in a salad dressing!!

Hi Kim good morning happy Tuesday morning and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
I mixed a can of drained/ rinsed chickpeas with some of the cracked olive salad. Added cumin and chili lime seasoning. It’s wonderful!
sounds WONDERFUL!
YES!!!! Sounds so good and I will try this idea! thank you!
Nope the pumpkin vinegar is brand new
The rice a roni spanish rice is vegan. One of my favs. I'll have to give the TJ's one a try

Ahhhh Johanne!! This made my morning! Thank you so much!
I want to buy that salmon spread so badly but I never liked fish 😂 vegan problems LOL
Have you tried the Beyond Steak tips? It’s super good!
I still haven't seen them in person! But I really really wanna try them! I have heard great things!
Trader Joe's in Summerlin had the vegan chicken cauliflower fried rice last night! I totally grabbed it.
ohhhhhhhh I may need to make a trip that way!!!! thank you!

@@KimberlyFlanagan thank you!
That Spanish rice is amazing! I had both packs in one seating as a meal :)

thank you so much for this feedback!! And you are right!! I forgot that it also had added pineapple for that new blend!

oh no!! you know what, I remember that about Turkish ones! they really are much different!
My son is not plant based but takes his burgers same way, cheese bacon and that’s it no sauce at all.
how do these kiddos not love sauce?! I cannot wrap my head around it! lol 😂
for cinnamon rolls, they have natural flavors. To know if they're vegan, you'd have to ask the company
That's true!
Rice a roni is not vegan. It's sad! I loved the Spanish rice! Great haul! Let us know how you like it!
Definitely will do!
@@KimberlyFlanagan looking forward to your review!
Its tasty but pricey. You can make vegan from a package even purchased at WF for half the price
The Spanish rice is good, but a little to salty..
yah....I avoid anything too salty by TJ's ....you have to watch those numbers IF you are looking for low-sodium items.
thank you for this feedback!
