I called Armani 2 days ago. She said that Profumo has NOT been discontinued. They were out of stock. Other places like Sephora and online vendors still have it in stock.
Just got Profumo in a frag group since it’s discontinued, will probably get Profondo at some point but no rush for me. I like the darker incense and patchouli notes on the dry down personally over Profondo

(I'll probably never be on the cover of GQ) To me, the Profondo is the more sophisticated version of Acqua Di Gio, which I've had for years. All of the aforementioned fragrances, can be worn with absolute confidence! Excellent comparison info! Thank you!
I have all the ADG flankers including Essenza all really good have 2 Profumo bottlers bought when it first came out in 2015. Profondo might be my favorite and Profondo lights is even better but doesn’t perform as well it’s also discontinued now 😢 the new EDP is 🔥🔥🔥.
The ADG Profumo - I liked the initial fragrance, but on dry down it felt salty & kinda irritated me. Maybe its just on me but has anyone else felt the same?

My all-time favorite fragrance is the OG ADG, but I didn't like Profondo. Too salty and weird, I almost smell dead fish or something, REALLY smells like ocean.
I’ve just received a 22 batch of Profumo. Love the original and the edp version. But this 22 batch is a skin scent after 30 mins. Smells great but no performance whatsoever unfortunately.
The original. The original one has the magnetic cap. The reformulated versions have a click on cap like profondo. I just ordered my profumo and hoping that its not the reformulated one

Armani went official in June 2022 and said that its discontinued, so i think the one employee didn't know what she was talking about.

Profumo was the best, profondo is on top now though.
In addition to Profondo, I like Absolu & the new EDP. I use the OG after shave as well.

How many hrs do you get with the original acqua di gio after shave?
I have profumo with magnetic cap. So strong aquatic scent. The incense is strongly noticed at dry down. That is what profumo a unique flanker.

Personally I love Profundo more but I’m biased as a 21 year old guy. I’m sure when I’m in my 30s and 40s that my nose will go more towards Profumo.
I feel like with Profumo i smell too much, it's just so strong. I usually wear Armani SWY intensely instead because it’s sweeter.
