This was so incredibly helpful because I get so overwhelmed knowing what to focus on learning and investing in. There are so many tools so this helped me know what to get. 😊
The slide that shows the preference of tools by hiring managers...was that survey completed before or after the new Captivate came out? My understanding is the new Captivate is much more like a combination of Storyline and Rise, and is easier and more intuitive with more features. Wondering if that info is worked into the ratings? Thanks!
Great question! The hiring manager survey was conducted between August-September of 2023, so the new update to Captivate had already been released. However, since it hasn't been in demand for a while now, it may take years for ID teams not already using Captivate to adopt it. We'll have to see what the future holds!
There is an ID theories and models playlist on the channel you can use to brush up on the theory! Check it out: th-cam.com/play/PLDW3IzDXPIgpV2fnwnF0Zh0A_EushYHZV.html&si=D6_m--KmcOpIc2zy
There is generally a pattern where if a software is easy to use and free it is low on demand. I wonder if companies like adobe are manipulating the market so that their product sells the most.
