This is really a beautiful foundation for dry older skin. I started using it 2 months ago. I really am so happy. I bought a second bottle because it was on sale at Ulta. It doesn’t settled in fine line or wrinkles. 💕
So happy to read this! I just bought this foundation today. Along with the mineralize powder. I’m getting close to 40 and my skin has definitely changed. I can’t get away with all the lower end make up I used to in my 20s lol so I’m so happy to read this doesn’t settle into fine lines!!

I went into Ulta for a shade match. If you can do that it is better then to just guess. I have really light skin and it is very hard to match. The girl who helped got the color perfect.
Thanks for comparing this one with Haus lab. I have tested several foundation lately and got different result from Hausl ab. On the day I didn't have dry skin, it looks perfect but then I tried again and was shocked at how it looked when my skin is dry. You made me want to try this Mac for dry /mature skin. If you have any other recommended brand for me to check out, please advise.
Hi! I am a makeup artist looking for a no-transfer foundation for bridal use during spring/summer season. I usually apply Radiance Face and Body, but it's too glowy and light for combination skins or skins with discolorations or spots.. I have tried these new foundations on my skin (which is a combination skin), and now I have bought them for a couple of brides with a bit oilier skins. My aim is not to apply a heavy or dry-effect foundation, that's why I bought this Serum foundation instead of a totally matte one. Do you think it would be enough to simply blot the oilier areas with loose powder, to make the makeup last all the ceremony and after party? 😊 Thanks!
I have extremely oily skin and with the right primer and setting this wears incredibly long. I really like it, just really hard to find a shade match as they lean orange/yellow
If you're cool toned, make sure you're swatching "nw". Mac swaps the cool and warm tones names. I'm cool toned, and got matched as nw5 last week at MAC

omg, thank you for pointing this out. every sample i get is always too dark. to me, it feels like nc 12, 14.5 and nc16 is all the same shade. At this point, I think I am only left with the lighest shade
Agree! I use N2 and n3 in face and body and nw25 in the studio fix concealer and I had to go to nW13 in the radiance foundation 🙄 the MAC counter attendant was puzzled too! it’s beautiful though
This hydrating foundation is not good for oily skin, probably in the winter, not summer. I remember blotting my face a lot with this foundation on. More than usual. It goes on so smoothly, and it does glide on the skin and melts and becomes one, and I like the medium coverage, so it's not so heavy feeling. I dont think it's for oily skin, though. I hope make makes one for oily skin. In cooler weather, it stays matte. Not for hot climate. I have to switch to a different foundation.
Am I the only one who thinks the shade match is off? Made it is the better cameras makeup content creators use because I have noticed this on other people I follow. But either way, don’t care, love your videos!! ❤
I'd like to think they all do it on purpose so you can detect the colour on their faces as they apply it cause if it was the perfect match, it would be invisible.
Personally I feel that MAC foundations lean very yellow. The yellow undertone was the first thing I noticed. I have always had a hard time finding a good shade match with MAC, despite liking the formula.
The shade she has listed is for warmer skin tones. Mac is the opposite of everyone else, so if it starts with NW, it is for cool undertones, NC is for warm undertones. She got NC 14.5 which is, I believe, not for her undertone bc I think she leans neutral/cool. So, long story short lol, I think you are right, it is the incorrect undertone

To be honest it looks like the wrong shade for you. Unless it’s a camera thing. It’s looks too dark and like it’s the wrong undertone.

This foundation does not look good to me. I’m sorry I can see all the imperfections and it looks way too shiny
