No cars go is by far one of there best tracks, i remember zayne lowe on radio 1 doing a countdown of the best arcade fire tracks and 'no car's go' came out on top, to me its the main song I assosiate with them and if anyone was dumb enough not to know them & said, what do they sign? Id go to that. Very surprised its not up there as its a brilliant song by a brilliant band👌
I grew up in Ethiopia, and never knew anything about rock music but grow up playing guitar at church. I came to Canada and when i was 14 and my brother introduced me to Arcade Fire and felt in Love with them and this type of music. Until now when i hear the Neighborhood #1 song, I always have tears in my eyes. It amazes me how music reminds us how similar we are no matter what background we have. You should see people's reaction when a 30 year old African man is playing arcade fire loud in a Benz lol. I love it.

i remember 2003 my mom went to sam goody and asked the guy working there for some good music, he gave us "funeral" and neighborhood #1 was the song of the year for me... i was 12 haha arcade fire has been in my heart ever since.
Based on the collective comments = almost every song is one of their best. Literally one of the most consistent and mind-blowing bands of the last 2 decades.
Man, My Body Is a Cage doesn't get any love. I first heard that in an Evangelion AMV, and once I found out it was an Arcade Fire song it immediately became one of my favorites of theirs. It's a shame it was never released as a single, it really could have gotten a lot of attention if it had.
10. Neighborhood #3 The Power Out 9. Ready To Start 8. Black Mirror 7. The Suburbs 6. Rebellion Lies 5. Modern Man 4. City With No Children 3. Wake Up 2. Neighborhood #1 The Tunnels 1. Intervention
Pff... Best song of arcade fire for me is suburban war. Even thought I loved the list (most because I know all arcade fire songs) Suburban not being in the list was sad :/
"Intervention" is my favourite from the list, but this wasn't an easy choice because so much of Arcade Fire's (Arcade Fire Arcade Fire Arcade Fire Arcade Fire Arcade Fire) musical masterpieces are so wonderful.
1. City with No Children 2. Neighborhood #1 - Tunnels 3. Suburban War 4. My Body is a Cage 5. Intervention 6. Supersymmetry 7. Here Comes the Night Time 8. Wake Up 9. Rococo 10. Modern Man
My parents divorced in january 2014, and Arcade Fire was sort of a beacon of peace in the mess that was my life. They have always put security into me.
i agree 100% with the #1 choice (my absolute favorite AF track) but i was also hoping to see 'The Well and the Lighthouse' here, i also think its a great song.
I think i's so hard to do a top 1 for arcade fire for any fan to do, but in my book you got the top 3 right. Funeral will go down as one of the most important recorded albums ever made

Honestly, thanks guys. I say this with genuine sincerity that i really enjoy the entertainment that you provide for me and my peers with this channel. I don't know why people think it is so easy or such a massive franchise to compile your collective interest together to make a list. Even if majority don't like it, do it anyway because i find it intriguing.
Answer: Top 10 Fictional Materials, Top 10 Defining Moments in 1960s America, Top 10 Controversial Movies, Top 10 Frontwomen in Rock, Top 10 Armies of All Time. Question: What are things you apparently will be missing in the near future (this weekend alone) by virtue of unsubscribing ;) (let alone Top 10 Guns & Roses, Radiohead, WuTang Clan, Led Zep, Def Leppard, Pink Floyd and Metallica - all in the next few weeks ;)
Please do a video for the Killers! On second thought dont because I'll probably completely disagree with the list and get pissed off. Yeah stay away from the killers
"Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)" has to be one of the best opening songs off a debut album in history.
Totally agree
I second this!
This and five years !!!! R.I.P bowie😪
I miss Bowie, too, and agree that "Five Years' is a great tune...But it was not off his debut album.
Mike Hunt oh you are right , i read something different, well .... Great album openings
No Cars Go is definitely missing. And Neon Bible.
Agreed.
RedVIII Anti Christ television blues is the best song they've ever produced. Wtf watch mojo!!!
Neon bible is a misunderstood masterpiece. It's secretly arcade fire's best album.
Joseph Drew its my fav
And afterlife
Where's No Cars Go? For me it will always be their best song
Eliot Butler unbelievable that no cars go isn't on the list, much less top 3
Yes i no believe thus
This*
No cars go is by far one of there best tracks, i remember zayne lowe on radio 1 doing a countdown of the best arcade fire tracks and 'no car's go' came out on top, to me its the main song I assosiate with them and if anyone was dumb enough not to know them & said, what do they sign? Id go to that. Very surprised its not up there as its a brilliant song by a brilliant band👌
You guys remember this is a Watch Mojo list...they only pick singles cuz they're dumb as shit and I'm just as dumb for being here
Their song Reflektor is pure genius!
It was released 2 years after this video
It’s just a reflektor
@@dougthealligator I thought you agreed to the resurrector?
Probably my fav song of 2013, ahead of Black Skinhead by Ye
My favorite will always be Neighborhood #2 (Laika)
So much raw emotion in that song. Love it.
One of their best songs! I concur!
Yesssss
Am I the only one who loves Black Wave/Bad Vibrations?
Jacob Lyons no, that song is sick!
Jacob Lyons it's me black wave the best song ever for me
It's my favorite...2nd fav is Headlights look like diamonds.
I'm with you man, I love that track too.
Nah, that song is amazing
I grew up in Ethiopia, and never knew anything about rock music but grow up playing guitar at church. Robo X Oh, you're just starting? You're in luck. The place to start is probably the greatest album ever. Funeral.
Woah!!! You're into Arcade Fire too? Man, I really like your musical taste.
Also, finally someone who likes Neighborhood #2 & We Exist.
Nicolas Marin You AGAIN? This is great!
Yeah, I actually might like Neighbourhood #2 better than 1, and We Exist is a masterpiece. And fuck yeah, your musical taste is great from what i've seen! Radiohead and Arcade Fire. See ya later when I pop up in a Smiths video!
Afterlife is my favorite. Fun thing is that I hated it when I first heard it. But damn, did that grow on me.
Mateus Murozaki INTERPOL
yessss
this is up till the Suburbs obviously
what about Arcade Fire "My Body is a Cage"...love that song..and wake up
My Body is a Cage I think is from Peter Gabriel. They cover it.
Peter Gabriel covered it. Arcade Fire, in turn, covered "Games Without Frontiers".
there's much more to the song The Suburbs than just a marching beat and catchy chorus :(
Dirk Heeres agree. You actually have to listen to the lyrics to understand how deep and sad yet beautiful this song is.
top 10 michael jackson > queen > eminem > ozzy > maiden > arcade fire...
then... > def leppard > guns and roses > metallica > daft punk > led zep > pink floyd.
worth noting: only one of these artists released a new album at the time we published the top 10 list ;)
Yeh there is nothing better than Rebellion.
Where is "No Cars Go"????? Noooooooooooooooooooooo
Funeral is now officially rated as the greatest album of the 2000s, it just overtook Kid A on besteveralbums! :D
No
NOOOOOO!!!!!!
Besteveralbums fluctuates so my comment doesn't really matter anymore.
***** Oh good. I can't get into Arcade Fire at all.
I can get behind that.
10. No Cars Go
9. Porno
8. (Antichrist Television Blues)
7. Deep Blue
6. Haiti

4. Wake Up
3. Neighborhood #1

i remember 2003 my mom went to sam goody and asked the guy working there for some good music, he gave us "funeral" and neighborhood #1 was the song of the year for me... i was 12 haha arcade fire has been in my heart ever since.
Based on the collective comments = almost every song is one of their best. Literally one of the most consistent and mind-blowing bands of the last 2 decades.
my body is a cage... I listened to it once and just kept replaying it.

No Cars Go, Keep the Car Running, and My Body is a Cage probably all should've been on this list.

8. Black Mirror
7. The Suburbs
6. Rebellion Lies
5. Modern Man
4. City With No Children
3. Wake Up

Good list, but where's Reflektor? Some of their best work.
Lolrandom Yeah I'd put afterlife up there, probably the best song on reflektor.
Lolrandom
Not a big fan of the album honestly.
Tedward but the criteria said only tracks from the first three albums
Pff... Best song of arcade fire for me is suburban war. Even thought I loved the list (most because I know all arcade fire songs) Suburban not being in the list was sad :/
Suburban War is definitely the best.
Same. I love that song, shame is isn't here
Creature Comforts is a new instant classic too!
I think the song neon bible and black wave / bad vibrations are very underrated
Also ( antichrist television blues )
***** Also: My Body Is a Cage. I just love how explosive and grand that one gets in the second half.
***** Amen to Black Wave, probably their best song, though not my favourite LP.
If there were a redux, "Reflektor", "Here Comes the Night Time" or "Afterlife" sure would've made this list.
I think I'm the only one who thinks Crown of Love should be on there
I was going to post this if no one else had.
Joel Peech should be #1 ahaha
You're far from the only one
No.
"Wake Up" is most definitely their best tune.
"Intervention" is my favourite from the list, but this wasn't an easy choice because so much of Arcade Fire's (Arcade Fire Arcade Fire Arcade Fire Arcade Fire Arcade Fire) musical masterpieces are so wonderful.
Suburbs should have been much, much higher... #9? Really??
Jamesayswow!!! Real shit, it's their most powerful song.
Jamesayswow!!! yeah it should go at least in #2
It's not that bad but I think it's just not possible to do a Top 10 songs for that band, all of their song are so great (yes I'm a fan).
BEST BAND EVER.
1. City with No Children
2. Neighborhood #1 - Tunnels
3. Suburban War
4. My Body is a Cage
5. Intervention

7. Here Comes the Night Time
8. Wake Up
9. Rococo
10. Modern Man
So this is just "look how much we like The Suburbs"
glost12311goduer haha yes it is
And they didnt even include the best song, Suburban War.
Is that a bad thing? It’s my favorite album EVER
Antichrist Television Blues is a very underrated song by them that needs more attention.
Too bad this list was written just 3 days before reflektor came out...
My parents divorced in january 2014, and Arcade Fire was sort of a beacon of peace in the mess that was my life. They have always put security into me.
mine was beer and drugs, lots of it!!
🌹
i agree 100% with the #1 choice (my absolute favorite AF track) but i was also hoping to see 'The Well and the Lighthouse' here, i also think its a great song.
Neighborhood #2 (Laika) deserves to be on this list.
Kinda surprised No Cars Go from Neon Bible is not on this list.
I think i's so hard to do a top 1 for arcade fire for any fan to do, but in my book you got the top 3 right. Funeral will go down as one of the most important recorded albums ever made
AFTERLIFE will always be their best song for me, also missing It's Never Over (Oh Orpheus), Windowsill and Supersymmetry......
green-lit and in production. will also add nirvana, soundgarden, pearl jam, etc. all to the list of upcoming top 10 in the weeks and months to come.

Half Light
Adrian Barrios well, thats embarrassing :/
hahaha,shit happens......
SuperHarryFan where's No Cars Go
honourable mentions, they just have too many great songs.
Poor list. You need to update it to include songs from Reflektor.
No. We have to pretend that album didn't happen.
Sam the Cthulhu Unfortunately for you, there are a lot of people who think it's great (me included). It's not their best, but it's still great.
Indeed. That album has some great ones too.
@@samgrossman4491 we have to pretend this comment didnt happen
SPEAKING IN TONGUES IS INCREDIBLE so underrated!

Yes!!!! Culture war is also a brilliant Arcade Fire song!

where's Rococo??? Guess it will just be #1 in my heart ):)
zero. if we did, we'd be very clear about it and disclose it. the band won a grammy, musical legends like David Bowie look up to them. we want to balance the classics with contemporaries, hard rock/heavy metal with rock. also, they have a new album out, so the timing made sense.
Am I the only one who loves `"Afterlife"?
My personal favorite 💚
Sneak peek into what we're working on/about to be released:
Def Leppard, Metallica, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Guns and Roses, Radiohead, Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Ac/DC, Wu Tang Clan, Dr Dre, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Pantera, Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, Bon Jovi, Hendrix, Whitesnake, Bryan Adams, etc.
Expect a ton of these top 10s.
But, Arcade Fire released a new album and part of what we do is based on TIMELY releases: ThisDayInVideo(dot)com so just enjoy the list/music and suggest ideas.
I think Wake Up deserves to be #1. Also, I don't know why Tunnels is top 1 in almost all lists, I like it but I don't think it's their best one!
I don't know what is more jarring:
a) viewers didn't know/like Arcade Fire and bashed us for doing the top 10, or
b) viewers who are Arcade Fire "fans" but are appalled that a given song or another isn't on it.
We sure do love our viewers, but sheesh.
People.
You're freaking welcome ;)
