My first time hearing his version of this song.......Warren belongs right on the same list of the best blues/rock guitarists. He has a way of getting and holding your attention.
I've been listening and trying to get the count pattern of the main riff, I think I have it. Not sure of the actual time signature, but you count to 10 for the first phrase, and then 12 for the second and then the two phrases repeat. I play drums and was trying to figure out how that worked, so I could give it a go. Now I guess I should see what else is in the song that has so many cool changes. Great song.
