I understand the things about pencils now because I get the pencils and I appreciate this video 👍
This is so helpful to us amateurs! Very well presented!
It is important to clarify that the designations 'H' and 'B' in pencil grading do not connote hardness and blackness, as erroneously suggested in some English references. The letters H and B represent the surnames of the original creators of the pencil hardness grades., also every pencil include graphite, clay and WAX. Plus high B pencils have a mixture of CARBON. It is noteworthy to emphasize that, despite the misinterpretation, your explanation adeptly captures the essence of this grading system. It can be disheartening when U.S. conventions import European metrics and reinterpret them to suit their preferences.
DAM SO GOOD, I was finding some good video. But in this video, this is the only video that TEACHED me so easy! You even shows those H-9B well thats great! I subbed! ❤️
Oh I’m so glad you found this useful. Thank you kindly for the feedback 💗🙏
Great video, answers the question succinctly yet fully
Thank you
Great review of the material! I like to draw with Derwent pencils, but because of their high cost, I do not always draw with them. For everyday drawing I use cheap analogues.
I've always think about which is best to use on some of the pictures I try to draw. Now I know H and B is for. Thanks Leanne.
You’re welcome ☺️
