What we do have are scientific *guesses* based on resonating structures, letting us estimate the frequency of sounds they could make, and reconstructions based on modern birds and crocodilians. Anyone claiming "this is what dinosaurs REALLY sounded like" is misleading you for clicks.
Vocal cords don't necessarily have to fossilize if they were preserved in stone. We've found soft tissue from them in the past from that happening. I am aware we haven't actually discovered what they sounded like yet, but it isn't impossible
Steven for your caffeine test on Ryan, you should also test different KINDS of caffeine on him too! Because I’ve noticed with me that I’ll usually react differently to matcha compared to coffee. Can’t wait to see the results later down the line with Ryan lol

That's why they have to take those guys seriously, you don't know their intentions. Which is why streakers are better since you can see they don't have a weapon.

Fun fact about the tyrannosaur sound at 33:21 - they developed it by studying fossilized vocal cavities. Also it was pitched up in the video so we could hear it. In reality I likely would have been much lower in pitch to the point where humans couldn't hear it, so it would just be an ominous vibration going through your body!
The tripods in war of the worlds scare me so much. So does siren head. I agree with Ryan. The t-rex sounds and image are scary. Also, that voice in the woods totally sounded like Ryan lol.
Ryan's caffeine sensitivity is like mine! People scoff when I tell them that I can't even have decaf tea or coffee without getting super anxious and feeling jittery, but I can drink a bottle of cola with no real problems other than sugar. I have no idea what the difference is. Same thing with msg -- I can have tomatoes, but tomato broth or lots of msg powder on food make me sick and delirious.
I’m not a doctor or caffeine scientist (is that a thing?), but I’m pretty sure the delivery mechanism of caffeine makes a difference. I drink a LOT of caffeinated tea and it doesn’t bother me at all, but if I have a 10oz coffee I can really feel it, and if I have more than that it’s like I’m going to vibrate out of my skin. I don’t drink soda anymore so I can’t really speak to that. I used to drink coffee daily until I realized that it makes me feel terrible and makes my anxiety so bad. Now I only have it occasionally as a treat.

Regarding Cassowaries. They're dangerous and fast. Thankfully they aren't super aggressive. So if you hear or see a cassowary, you leave it the fuck alone. Because there are 3 breeds of Cassowary between Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea, and they all sit amongst the 6 deadliest birds around. Their claws are sharp and they have killed humans that they felt threatened by.
With either scenario, there will most likely be versions of every forethought. There might even be an association with aliens and zombies. The beauty of this reality is that we can never accurately predict every detail 🎉
We do NOT pronounce the “L” in salmon. We take the word from the Old French “saumon”. We added an “L” to keep the word more true to the Latin “salmo” but we kept the pronunciation of the French version. That’s my understanding of the word.
