Excellent attitude, don’t fall into that head space trap, not worth it mentally, it’ll also play into the physical aspects so stay positive, enjoy that ride to the fullest as if you are going to stay, keep a positive mindset and it will all work out for the best!

Very true. It's hard though. Thanks for the positivity!

Aww no! No need to be embarrassed! It looks like it’s been such an amazing experience so far! I’m sure whatever happens next, either staying or going will also be another great chapter in your adventure!
Sending good vibes that it shows up!
And if not, spring paddling is just around the corner… despite the snow/rain/windstorm predicted this week!
    Best of luck!

Thank you for keeping things really real, Preston. This is an important video for anyone who thinks doing what you're doing is easy, or anyone who is considering making the move to Spain. Sending all the positive vibes and I'm already a subscriber 😉

Thanks. It's not always easy to share, but it helps. Appreciate it!

Really hope this works out for you Preston! Don't feel embarrased, none of it is your fault. I totally get the 'not feeling welcome or nothing is for me' feeling. Our brains and thoughts are not very nice to us sometimes. I have my own struggles with my thoughts, it's not fun. On a positive note, if you did end up back in Canada for the spring and part of summer, you could do some canoe tripping and camping lol!

Best of luck with Spanish bureaucracy, I understand the attraction to Spain.

Thanks. That sucks. I'm sorry that happened to you. I hope things work out as painlessly as possible.

Maybe you summoned all this by saying that you would have preferred to go to Italy. When you are in one place but you would prefer to be in another, you begin to chain bad things, not because of magic, but because of logical causes such as not being focused, motivated or active

      Could be.

Noooo. I truly hopes this works out. Can you wait it out in Montenegro? At least you will still be in Europe.

There's a few places I can go, but considering expenses, it might make the most sense to be in Canada. I'm not sure yet.

I just looked it up, and that while they don't have a digital nomad visa, they do have other pretty good options. (And I could stay there waiting out the time before coming back to Spain.) They were always an option because you can stay 180 days visa free. I'll have to look into that more.
