Haha, in this game that's the dumbest statement. Here's why! It's an investment of resources. Which would hold your statement to be true if things were solidified, but they aren't. You can invest all of your resources into artemis, and it takes you 9 months to complete her, but by then they nerf the hero and maje her useless, which is EXACTLY what they did with Ishmael. So you can't play smarter when the chess pieces are morphing into other pieces while you play. Chabba used to be number 1 Tank rofl. Anyone who tells you they play smarter is an idiot. The only thing that you can do in this game that makes you smarter is to do something that we all have a huge problem doing. Impulse control. Holding every single resource until you have enough to max the hero is the smartest thing you could do, and the main reason is that if you don't, and you get a hero 50% of the way, and they maje ir useless, well now you just threw away all those resources. Now I hold every single resource until I have enough to completely max the hero. This is literally the only smart advantage you can have. Obviously there is basic common sense. Don't make Astrid and Luca or Heidi your first hero. But after that it's not about playing better, it's about having more answers. You have more answers by maxing out those credit cards.
Charlie, you look at this totally from a gold perspective. I'm in a silver league team on 46; here the top 5/6 teams are separated by maybe 500 points. We have two teams that collude; the difference between gold and silver is that the schedule is know for the week and it happens every wee they battle each other. Here the collusion is worth about 200 points; enough points with a 500 point span in the top 6 to change the rankings and the chances for stronger teams to battle (or not) on Saturday. On many servers it does change the ranking and chances to battle to rise to a higher league. Glad to see the video on the subject!
Just one minor correction, Charlie. I know it's worded oddly, but the people on the war team get 30 gold trophies per win, and the players in the guild but not on the war team get 20 gold trophies per win.
This is a non-issue. We have been the 3rd place guild in our Gold League for many months now. None of the other 5 guilds could keep us from scoring enough points on Friday to make up the difference between 3rd and 4th to keep us in 3rd. And because the schedule is randomized, there is no way that they other guilds could predict what day they would face us to put their defense up. And if they tried to do any iteration of the scheme, it would likely only work to our advantage. And then there would have to be a Silver League team that could beat us, and considering than no Silver League team has been promoted in months, and only then it was because a Gold Guild disbanded, it is highly unlikely that we could get pushed out of Gold either. And as far a keeping Silver League guilds out of Gold League, it would require that the strongest team would need to agree to consistently throw matches so that they were positioned in the bottom three places, and what server does that describe? Even if ut was only 1 team you wanted to keep out, say a server invasion guild, you would still need to accurately predict what position the Silver League team you want to keep out will end up in, and if they are a really strong team, they could do just enough to come in in any one of the three spots. The really issue is people over think the non-issues and then ignore the real issues, like Whales hogging the top places in Arena, even though it benefits no one but the Developers to do so. If the players on the server were smart and worked together, you could get 48 first place payouts, 48 second place payouts, etc a day, which would benefit the health of the server, instead of what these small minded whales do, which is just park a team in first so that there is only 1 first place payout a day on a server, etc.
There is no gold league guild that would actively __want__ to do GW on Saturday just to keep a out an invasion guild from gold. Maybe for one week just to prove they could...but long term? No way!
If you can't steal first then you need to step up your game. I'm on server with 15 max accounts and I can still take down any line. Also your type of thinking doesn't benefit anyone. Hey Charlie, your guild fought your sister guild Crysaor on Monday, so you didn't get to do your "collusion." Now that the week is over, Crysaor finished in 6th place 222 points behind Divine Awakening in 5th place. If you did get to do your collusion Crysaor would have unfairly received the extra 460 points and been pushed ahead of DA in the ranking. I'm going to say you cherry picked a week that DA had a bad week (probably missed some hits) so you could make this video. Crysaor is definitely not always in 5th place and them and DA are almost always closer than the 460-point gift you give them. You really haven't proven anything other than being dishonest about not affecting the ranking. If you guys truly didn't care about how you ranked, you could easily leave x number of heroes/titans in place to make it a 1340/940 truce and not hit on collusion Fridays.

On our server (111) we do not have such alliances, but if we know there is a problem at our rival team, we usually try not to exploit it and vice versa. That also has to do with the fact that our two teams are the clear leaders of gold league on our server and the remaining teams seem to have settled for that and do most of the guild fighting among themselves to get 3rd place in the league. But i have seen it in previous games i played, how top teams form pacts to keep other teams away from the top spots. It sucks but yeah, either settle for it, or pick up the fight and get better so you in turn start beating those "elitists" (that's the long but fun route hehehe).
FYI everyone: They made this Boss in the Storm MUCH more difficult than in the past. My team that normally takes two battles at most barely did 20% damage. I had to use my Osh Team and that took three more fights.
The enemies' strength in Great Storm depends on your strongest 5 heroes. Whatever problem you're having is probably because the great storm boss is stronger while your heroes haven't been proportionally levelled up. I found the boss to be easier than last time, despite using the same team.
At least on mobile, I am almost positive that the placement games on Saturday do not receive any rewards, so they are not getting any additional rewards for that extra game.
I have no issues with this, thinking of our situation on server 564 (which started around September 2021.) Everything stays more or less the same for guild rankings. And if there was a guild that wanted to rise up a level for a week, they’d only need to ask. All the gold and silver league players know each other and are congenial.
pass this on to the people in charge. 1) since the light dark titan introduction, the elemental summoning spheres have been dropping 2500 coins instead of 250 super titan soul stones for players that don't even have the original super titans unlocked. coins are good but they don't help until later when somehow these players manage to get their regular titans deep enough into a dungeon. no store = no gold or potions to upgrade. 2) great storm once again is not allowing some players to "win" the battle location... they play it over and over, reload the game, try different days and still end up with the message that gives them back their action point. in addition to this, some of the players who were able to play successfully on day 1, now cannot get the great storm map to load.. they have a black screen, gold bar that doesn't finish to open the map - thus they cannot complete, get to the unopened chests, nor get into the merchant to spend the coin.
Strongly disagree with this video. Collusion is toxic - people are investing lots of time and money on this game, with the GW often the focus. If it is rigged due to backdoor deals, they will start to rethink. An analogy is with a weekend causal sports league - would players turn up if the rankings could be affected by some out of game deal? My server Gold League has been very competitive - often 20 points separating guilds at the end of the week. When it was at it's most competitive, we had this Friday win trading once - due to guild members disapproving of the practice, short term, it seemed to destroy the weaker guild (they bleed members and fell into silver) and shook the top one (a few good players left in disgust). Long term, it might have led players from the weaker guild to join the stronger one. If it had been repeated, I would probably have quit Hero Wars. I am not going to invest in a competitive activity that is rigged.
Do you copy/paste the bulk of your description, or do you have to type it from scratch each time? I'm using your "Try Hero Wars Yourself" link (you mentioned it benefitted you in some way), and it would be more convenient if it was present in every video, so I don't have to go track down one that has it.
I dont even consider this gatekeeping... it just seems like the silver players just need to try harder if they really wanted to get into gold like you said. Im a new player (2 weeks in) but I can see based on what you are saying, these players definitely have many opportunities to avoid this "gatekeeping" you guys are doing.

Look at the same "collusion" when you have 4-6 guilds doing "the day off" in silver... then watch your bronze guilds quit the game because they are limited to 5 other servers for transfer purposes. The result is a dead bronze league with maybe 4 to 12 active guilds any given week... boring. As for medals... once you have your totems leveled and the hero champion skins... you only can trade down to get bronze for titan skins... and once you have that complete Medals are worthless. It winds up hurting the entire server... experience talking here.
There is a simple way to make CoW trivial - draw trading. Each guild gets 5640 points for a draw...and gets top rewards. Surprised more guilds don't do this. I think this is acceptable 'collusion' because CoW is boring AF and the rewards are bad/hour of work if you are playing to win and the rewards are good/hour of work if you draw trade.
Well; Saturday GW never should be allowed. Like AU Invaded your Server stealing from The Unit to be in top 3 more often. It would have allowed Silver to flip back and forth more. Not what they seem has been stolen by AU. This is the bigger problem. People suffer from Invaders, it is not respect, it is stealing. It is great to see problem people go filled with drama on the flip side, but Invaders should be thrown all into a handful Servers only for Invaders to go and fight the best of the best willing to do it. But last I heard likely after this was posted AU died and imploded as a guild; and for ALL the drama they did...nah, nah,nah nah hey hey goodbye. Guilds been in for Years or better yet people who have been Gold for Years, if you have not gotten all the skins only Gold can do yet then your not playing the game very wisely and should really get your priority straight as had all those skins in the handful months it took while in Gold and was done and dealt with. Those Fridays no wars are needed. The GW set is bad. AOC is even worse. COW is the easiest to manage. Dev's you need to either shut down GW or revamp it. if you made QL can get Bronze Trophies and allow trading up at cost at least all leagues can get Gold Skins and would solve a lot of problems. As well you need to Dev's allow the whole map hit meaning City before bridge is okay with a way to get rid of Saturday GW. Playing better really is not an answer. It assumes a guild lets go extreme only way to prove it has 1 totem of each can sweep a guild with 30 people maxed in Titans. When that happens the phrase just play better can be proved. As well each members has no heroes Red ranked too sweep on heroes and defend. It is a phrase finding has no respect, that extreme is never going to happen. to play better sorry takes time and when Invaders steal your spots takes even longer and Dev's time to ban Invaders your greed is no excuse for enabling stealing from the Free to Play (You Promote violation of your adds being a pay to win game) for when no one else shows up time is something can be reached but can never be reached when Invaders come.
Either it makes a difference, in which case it is cheating or it doesn't in which case it is a pointless exercise and actually takes away some of the little amount of game play there actually is in Hero Wars. If the game is so boring or time consuming that you need a day off, just quit!

Collusion or as support refers to it = Diplomacy! A guild must manage alliances and enemies, all part of the game according to game support.

All the opponents strength is based on YOUR overall strength. I seriously doubt they adjusted the Boss algorithms at all.

2) great storm once again is not allowing some players to "win" the battle location... they play it over and over, reload the game, try different days and still end up with the message that gives them back their action point. in addition to this, some of the players who were able to play successfully on day 1, now cannot get the great storm map to load.. they have a black screen, gold bar that doesn't finish to open the map - thus they cannot complete, get to the unopened chests, nor get into the merchant to spend the coin.
try not using aidan in ur team. seems like aidan could be the problem
Strongly disagree with this video. Collusion is toxic - people are investing lots of time and money on this game, with the GW often the focus. If it is rigged due to backdoor deals, they will start to rethink. An analogy is with a weekend causal sports league - would players turn up if the rankings could be affected by some out of game deal? My server Gold League has been very competitive - often 20 points separating guilds at the end of the week. When it was at it's most competitive, we had this Friday win trading once - due to guild members disapproving of the practice, short term, it seemed to destroy the weaker guild (they bleed members and fell into silver) and shook the top one (a few good players left in disgust). Long term, it might have led players from the weaker guild to join the stronger one. If it had been repeated, I would probably have quit Hero Wars. I am not going to invest in a competitive activity that is rigged.

I'm using your "Try Hero Wars Yourself" link (you mentioned it benefitted you in some way), and it would be more convenient if it was present in every video, so I don't have to go track down one that has it.

I dont even consider this gatekeeping... it just seems like the silver players just need to try harder if they really wanted to get into gold like you said. Im a new player (2 weeks in) but I can see based on what you are saying, these players definitely have many opportunities to avoid this "gatekeeping" you guys are doing.
This doesn't matter at all. Any9ne who is complaining is claiming to be a "virtuous" person, but It's bull. They're just whining because they aren't getting it. If that's the case then just go find a better server that the royal or gold guild babies their sister guild. We did this same thing for ours every Friday.

Even worse b/c with Hero Wars it's really "spend more money" to overcome our cheating.
Right. We'll give the 5th or 6th place guild a free 460 points, but the other 5th or 6th place guild has to "play better" to make up those 460 points.
Look at the same "collusion" when you have 4-6 guilds doing "the day off" in silver... then watch your bronze guilds quit the game because they are limited to 5 other servers for transfer purposes. The result is a dead bronze league with maybe 4 to 12 active guilds any given week... boring. As for medals... once you have your totems leveled and the hero champion skins... you only can trade down to get bronze for titan skins... and once you have that complete Medals are worthless. It winds up hurting the entire server... experience talking here.
There is a simple way to make CoW trivial - draw trading. Each guild gets 5640 points for a draw...and gets top rewards. Surprised more guilds don't do this. I think this is acceptable 'collusion' because CoW is boring AF and the rewards are bad/hour of work if you are playing to win and the rewards are good/hour of work if you draw trade.

It'd random for most. Celeste and martha ate really the only rare events. I had to wait 6 months to get celeste.

Well; Saturday GW never should be allowed. Like AU Invaded your Server stealing from The Unit to be in top 3 more often. It would have allowed Silver to flip back and forth more. Not what they seem has been stolen by AU. This is the bigger problem. People suffer from Invaders, it is not respect, it is stealing. It is great to see problem people go filled with drama on the flip side, but Invaders should be thrown all into a handful Servers only for Invaders to go and fight the best of the best willing to do it. But last I heard likely after this was posted AU died and imploded as a guild; and for ALL the drama they did...nah, nah,nah nah hey hey goodbye.
Guilds been in for Years or better yet people who have been Gold for Years, if you have not gotten all the skins only Gold can do yet then your not playing the game very wisely and should really get your priority straight as had all those skins in the handful months it took while in Gold and was done and dealt with.
Those Fridays no wars are needed. The GW set is bad. AOC is even worse. COW is the easiest to manage. Dev's you need to either shut down GW or revamp it. if you made QL can get Bronze Trophies and allow trading up at cost at least all leagues can get Gold Skins and would solve a lot of problems. As well you need to Dev's allow the whole map hit meaning City before bridge is okay with a way to get rid of Saturday GW.
Playing better really is not an answer. It assumes a guild lets go extreme only way to prove it has 1 totem of each can sweep a guild with 30 people maxed in Titans. When that happens the phrase just play better can be proved. As well each members has no heroes Red ranked too sweep on heroes and defend. It is a phrase finding has no respect, that extreme is never going to happen. to play better sorry takes time and when Invaders steal your spots takes even longer and Dev's time to ban Invaders your greed is no excuse for enabling stealing from the Free to Play (You Promote violation of your adds being a pay to win game) for when no one else shows up time is something can be reached but can never be reached when Invaders come.
LOL on the It's "just" a Friday off. In a way you "paid" for that free day. Oh well
Either it makes a difference, in which case it is cheating or it doesn't in which case it is a pointless exercise and actually takes away some of the little amount of game play there actually is in Hero Wars. If the game is so boring or time consuming that you need a day off, just quit!
