In the key of G, you could play G, Am, Bm7, Bb- (Bbdim), Am7, but in some ways that diminished chord is sung in the Beatles two-part harmony more than it is played by an instrument, and maybe isn't necessary to play on the guitar. For the part where it goes "...hurt my pride like her...", the chord on "her" would be G9, which would be G7 with an added 9th note. G7 is the notes G, B, D, and F. The 9th note in the key of G is A (G is the 1st and 8th notes), so you take a G note and turn it into an A. If you play G7: 6th string 3rd fret (G), 5th string 2nd fret (B), 1st string 1st fret (F), you could take the 3rd string and hold down the 2nd fret (A) instead of leaving it an open G note. You'll have to finger it slightly different that way, try using the pinky finger on the 6th string and the 3rd finger on the 3rd string.
