I recently got my self a bluetooth module for my 2008 Lancer, mine was one of the mid range models of the time, has the buttons and everything there to tease you. But missing the module.... I just yanked one out of a 09 Lancer at a junk yard but doesn't work. What I understand I gotta take it to a dealer so they can use their specialized computer on it to simply tell my Lancer that the module is there..... I understand it takes like 10 mins from what I read online..... There likely going to want to an hours labor for the job regardless..... The service department guy said he had to ask, so is going to call me back..... If there fair I'll do it. if not.... oh well I only spent $5 on the module...
I see many folks commented they press the blue tooth control buttons on the steering wheel and nothing happens. Here is probably why: You may have bought your car used. And the previous owner got sick and tired of the blue tooth module screwing up, and removed that module. The Bluetooth in these cars can’t play music. Only does phone calls. Additionally, these modules are known to have continuous power draw even when the car is off. That leads to battery run-down, and no-start when you need to go somewhere. Many owners eventually removed the Bluetooth module for this reason.
Can you help me? I tried to my Mitsubishi Lancer Es but is not working . I pressed the button but is not doing anything . Pls any one could help me . Thnx
the problem i’m having is that it came prewired for bluetooth but it actually part it needs to run is sold separately and is actually pretty difficult to put i. your self if you don’t have much experience. you can buy the part online but i would suggest taking it to a dealership or mechanic or something and have them put it in.

IWDobbilnate when my phone is connected or paired to my radio i go into spotify and it dosent pick up my car in Spotify... need to play around with it more i guess..
You cant be on the radio, there should be a media source thats called Bluetooth or BTA( Bluetooth Audio) that is specific for bluetooth. In order for your bluetooth audio to work you need to have the source on your stereo on the bluetooth media source.

Same thing happened to me. All the buttons on the steering whell work except for those comand for the phone.

you need the dual rca plugs...that connects to the lancer and to your phone...I have one

no, you connect your bluetooth so you can play music from your phone via bluetooth, thats the whole point of connecting bluetooth.
