I lost my mom April of 2022 to cancer and it still feels like yesterday. I cried along with you. They are no longer in pain and that’s worth the pain we are feeling now.
I lost my younger sister, who was also my very best friend, 5 years ago. It still hurts every single day. I just have to remember that she's no longer in pain and that I WILL see her again. Every time I hear this song I think about her. I know you miss your dad terribly and I am so sorry for your loss. Just remember that he is watching over you and he loves you!
My cousin passed away from a drowning accident in june 19 2020 it was before his birthday. I was devastated when my parents told me hes in the hospital and he didnt make it, after that i felt so broken he was like a brother to me and my dad thought of him as a son.
Then years ago when i was in school, my dad woke me up one morning he told me my childhood friend passed away she lived all the way in Vicksburg Mississippi and i wasnt able to be there for her mother, me and her have been friends since we were little girls and now shes in a better place with god cause she is religious and had god with her ALWAYS.
To anyone out there, whos suffering through all the hardships you went through from your past, never forget that god has been by your side from your highest and your lowest, he will always walk with you wherever you go. God bless you jesus! Thank you lord❤❤
Rick, I had to bury my only son in 93' ....his death was sudden and unexpected 4 months after graduating from high school. Driving home from working his first 12hr shift in his life. He was killed in a head-on collision.
I was sooo devastated, I felt emotionally gutted.
He was only 19yrs old....and would have been 49yrs old this month, August 17th.
It's been this many yrs and I still can't even remember attending my own suns funeral.

I lost my daughter in January this year to a fent OD. She was an addict for over 8 years and was found in the woods suspicious circumstances. This song is what I played when I got to view her body for the last time. We were cremating her so my image of getting to play the song while kissing her and stroking her hair was quickly broken when I walked into the room. She was behind a wall with glass so we could see only her face the rest covered in white. Once my knees let me stand to walk to her I could only touch the cold glass and stare at my once beautiful daughter now broken and scarred. I said I prayer told her I will forever miss her and loved her. Then said no more pain baby no more scars and turned to walk out because I could feel my knees giving out. The last thing I heard was the door slamming behind me as I fell to the ground screaming. That image and this song will forever be with me. Thank you for the reaction. I'm sorry about your father ...I lost my father then mother 5 weeks later now my daughter 5 months later. Much love to you praying for you.
I know the feeling and my heart goes out to you. I lost my Daddy back in 1992 then my Baby sister died in arms at the skating rink in 2000 my mom in 2021 and I could go on and on. My Son is addicted to drugs and I’ve done all that I know to do for him.He’s expected a Baby Girl on June 16 and I’m just praying that when she’s born that will give him the strength to straighten up. We just lost my fiancee's mom three weeks ago. While dad slept, we sat with her holding her hands as she took her last breath. This was the song her son-in-law chose for the memorial.
I lost my best friend to suicide on november 21 of 2019 and my dad told me these words, "it will never get less painful, its like theres a box with a button and a ball, the ball is the size of that box at first and everytime it hits that button the pain is unimaginable, but as we grow the box does too and the button gets hit less and less, but everytime it does it still hurts the same as the first time." A few days later my dad was hospitalized due to a stroke and i was so afraid that i would lose him too. Luckily hes still with us but that button still gets pressed. In 2021 i was sent to inpatient therapy due to multiple suicide attempts. Today through the grace of God I am able to say i have been saved, im unable to say it stops hurting because thats never true but it gets easier, i love you all and God does too.

I understand kind of what your dealing with. My mom is only sixty six years old and she has fibro, She has dementia and parkinson's. I'm praying and believing that God will heal her. She's praying & believing in her healing.

A hospice nurse on tiktok explains in well. We have a pain box and a grief button. As time passes, the box grows, but the button is still there. And when the button is pressed, it's like the very first time it was pressed. It hurts like it first did all over again.

My Brother,I lost my Dad a little over a year ago,and I surely know your pain and sorrow. But we have an awesome GOD that loves us and carries us through these times. My father was an exceptional Man of GOD who taught me that we aren't meant for this world,our home is in Heaven where we will see our loved ones again!
