You explain stuff so well it has encouraged me to take on my own drainage project. Thank you very much for your dedication to the industry.

That's one of the big reasons I'm a fan of Chuck. Even though he's a contractor, he still empowers folks to DIY stuff and save themselves some money.

Dude why didn’t you use a soil filter fabric between the dirt and the gravel/pipe???????

Couple questions... doesn't that corrugated pipe eventually get crushed under the weight of the stone and dirt? Do you need to add filter fabric to prevent dirt from clogging up the stone? Is there a way to prevent critters like mice and from getting into those pipe via the discharge hole?

Nice work... I'd like a similar retaining wall installed in my front yard, I'll remember what this video has taught us... thanks

Great work as always Chuck. On a side note (pun intended) I would love to see a "making of" the Apple Drains theme music (which I know is your creation).

Would you not recommend some cloth around that pipe?

Nice video, thanks for sharing useful tips!
Will do this myself, only worry is rodents getting into the drainage channel. Considering installing some sort of lattice..

Would periodic cleanout be done through the core hole?

Why wouldn't you apply a piece of pipe where the "T" and Wall meet rather than just leaving the "T" floating near the whole in the wall?

Why not wrap the pipe in geotextile material to prevent the roor penetration ?

Don’t you need fabric over the gravel for long term many years
