      A knifes the most dangerous thing you can have in a fight, especially if you don't know what you're doing and can get overpowered. It takes a lot of effort and opportunity to stab someone. And wildly slashing doesn't really do much when someone can simply step back and catch your arm.

    First of all maintain distance don’t let them get close enough to grab and punch, pepper spray usually keeps distance and is a great first line of defense, followed by taser, collapsing baton, knife, fist. I hate to say gun because it may involve death but gun is the ultimate choice.

    • @Azznbad
      @Azznbad 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Any means of protection involves the possibility of death or it wouldn't work. If you are worried about harming someone intent on harming you then just take what ever he is handing out. If you want to survive use anything that makes you stronger than him. You are not determining the value of a human life. Your attacker determined that before he ever laid hands in you. He doesn't get the benefit of the doubt because you can only assume he intends to hurt or kill you. If you are going to fight back then use enough force to win as easily as possible. Most states don't demand that you must suffer before defending yourself, but if yours does then get the laws changed or move because those laws don't give a damn about you.

    Just cover your head with your arms asap so the incoming KO won't hit clean.
    It may also distract from the push kick motion.

Other than bars, hospitals and a few other places like courtrooms, I can legally carry my pistol open or concealed. Getting into a situation where I have to shoot someone is the last thing I want. Same with the one-hand open knife I carry. *But* Here, we have the right to use deadly force if we ARE IN FEAR OF OUR LIFE. If we are in our home, we can shoot anyone that breaks in, no questions asked. On the street, there will be questions.

      Try it and see. There are numerous new stories where people use deadly force against someone using non-deadly force. Unless the person is much larger than you and you had not fault in the physical dispute (you did not initiate the conflict) or your are an elderly person being assaulted by someone that has a much greater advantage over you in strength you cannot use deadly force against no deadly force. Ask any lawyer and they will tell you similar advice. Look at the Marine that choked the man on the subway for something like 12 minutes. Choking someone for anything close to 4 minutes is deadly force and ignorance of the law is not a defense. The marine has been charged with the man’s death. If the man hit the marine in the face and he choked the man to death he would be facing the same charges. He used deadly force (choking the man for over 4 minutes). It is surprising that there are so many stories in the news about excessive force (deadly force in response to non deadly force) resulting in charges of man slaughter to second degree murder but individuals on youtube giving this advice to stab or shoot someone if someone tries to hit you in the head with their fist. Try claiming self defense if you stab or shoot someone for trying to punch you in the face. You will be charged and be crying to the judge/jury asking for forgiveness claiming you did not know what you did was wrong and asking for forgiveness/light sentence just before you get a mandatory sentence of several years in prison. Good luck idiots.

    Block with same arm as the striking one, and go for the shin. Its really easy to stun someone with hard kick there because its just skin, nerves, and bone. Get them off ylu when off balance and then get them to the ground. Its harder to attack when prone.
