- In my opinion, the most OEM looking tail lights that the aftermarket has to offer for the second generation Lexus IS cars.

If I got the correct inside tail light part for my 2015 IS250 F Sport, would the installation be the same as in this video?
My plastic clips were super stubborn but I found a trick. Loop a zip tie through the little slot on the clip, and then pull on the loop. Should pop right out.
Hi there, i have IS 250 europe version from Ireland, are they gonna fit without any issue? what about AFS does it light up or you need to take fuse out? plug & play or you need change voltage, reprogram main computer etc? thx.

Where did you get these taillights from?
Did you do anything extra to seal up the lights? I've heard of people adding silicon caulking to ensure no moisture issues?
I didn't have to seal them, held up great throughout winter and heavy rain

To pry out the plastic clips use a small spanner to push it out after you've loosened it abit with the flat screwdriver.
I bought the same lights for my 2012 Lexus and they kept blowing out the fuses and leaving me stranded ....

Hi there, I’ve just bought a 2005 lexus is250 (I live in the UK if that changes anything), would these parts fit? Most tail lights and mods I find online are for 2006-2012/13. I’m not sure if their body shape changed between 2005-2006 models. Thanks alot!
Dont quote me, but i dont believe they changed body styles much. Your best bet is to ask the vendor
The 2005 and 2006 are the same and there are not any differences. They just show 2006-2012/13 because they started producing the IS in late 2005 and there aren't many from 2005.
They came out with triple beam headlights!. I have them on my car.

Do the come with resisters?
Im not sure, but it was purely plug and play without any codes or issues
how do you change the led bulb?
Good question, i dont believe they are changable... but have suffient lamp life
thinking about buying Vland tail lights for 08 IS250 but saw comments there some code issues or lights on/off issues.. could you tell if you have or had any problems
You will get an AFS error code if you have HID factory on your IS. You would need to remove a fuse so you don't get the error code

No moisture yet! And they have already been through snow and cold weather. I will let you guys know once it hits -40celcius here!

Thats the last year of the 2nd generation IS. They will fit
KanDo but one of the links you put says they only fit to 2008 and the other says 2012
