Using Alter Time to teleport yourself back out of the horde flag room with the flag was a bril use of that spell. I had to subscribe to your vids for that alone. Nice dude.

I'm a PvP frost mage. 1 day before 5.4 release, my fastest duel kill with Wushwoolay trinket proc (12k int on last seconds) and Relic of Yu'lon (4k int) +4k int potion + buffed + flasked was 2.5 sec. On 5.4 after release, same thing, I did it in 7 seconds...
this is 5.4 on the ptr before icicles came.. cartoonz was playing with the tier 16 gear... i saw the brainfreeze buff as he used frostfirebolt...also he has very big intellect trinkets...no wonder :D...

I have been looking through different frost mage gameplay, forums discussing dps, etc, and I really like what I am seeing in the mage class and frost class. I have pretty much concentrated on melee classes so far, (pallies and dks), so I really do not know how to do anything close to what you are doing. What spells do you have in your spell bar? What are the spells you are using that are doing the 100k+ damage? Mobile spells?

One of my friends ,who is quite well geared, played a BG and I was surprised that he only did 20-30k dmg with his Ice Lances but again Cartoonz is using Conquest gear.. as I recall.. from one of his other videos.. but yeah for anyone who thinks they're gonna do a ton of dmg.. feel free to try.. It's helpless...

maybe shaman? they are very fun, easy to play, and can be very good but based on you're level 90 warlock i would suggest starting a character either as a shaman or a priest

A, Health is higher. B, he's using PVE gear and trinkets. C, if he didn't use B, the damage is fine, but you can thank blizzard for B. When 5.4 goes live with these broken trinkets, i'll be 1 shotting on my destro warlock.
For anyone that thinks this is good gameplay - they released PVE trinkets on the 5.4 PTR that are way over powered giving 84% extra crit damage/mastery and he has it. They way you know is when a red gem like icon pops up in the corner for 20s as a buff. It requires no skill and I have personally crit 1,000,000 dmg with it.
Im on the PTR atm, His gear gets scaled down to 512 ilvl and basically what that means, PVE and PVP gear is the same but he is actually losing the PVP power from the pvp gear wich means he would do more dmg with PVP gear. Though he probably has a Set bonus that hes using or smthing. But over all i believe hes losing DMG on the pve gear, atleast in Arenas and BGs
I'm currently playing 2s as a mage disc combo, finding it very hard when we come up against another dps healer combo, anyone have any suggestion? Or know of any videos to watch?

My experience as Frost Mage starting BGs: stunned for 6 sec, dead.
Played all classes pretty extensively and I can honestly say mages along with Enhs shamans are probably the harder ones to play. IMO

how can u crit 100k ? im playing frost mage full geared and my krits are like 60-70k
his enemies are low geared
its cause they changed the mastery and this is actually patch 5.3 according to the upload date

Frost Mages have one of the highest skillcaps in-game. A decent mage is only decent, not many masters the class fully though.
