One of my all-time favorite bands EVER. I have seen them several times over the years and they never disappoint. I am in awe of their collective talents, and Ian Anderson totally blows me away. Nobody has mentioned the uniquely gifted Eddie Jobson, who toured with them several times (including on this tour) and played several instruments within a single song: electric violin, keyboards, and mandolin.

When this was in heavy rotation on MTV in the early days, loved it even though Ian Anderson scared the crap out of me. I am 47 years old now, and he still scares the crap out of me. And I still LOVE it as much as I did 30 plus years ago.

The funny thing was, all the time while I was watching this back then, I was only paying attention to Eddie Jobson. I come back looking for this specific video after all these years for that exact same reason. Eddie Jobson was the standout (again), as was Mark Craney.

There's another TH-cam video claiming to be the best version of Aqualung. I have to disagree. This is by far the best version of Aqualung. The band is tight , well versed, and there's not one bad part in this video.
And of course, hats off to Mark Craney, I think he was Jethro Tull's best drummer of all time. He's just amazing in this video. RIP Mark.

I believe he passed away some years ago! What a player he was, and largely unknown which is shame. He reminds me of Terry Bozzio.
