    Thank you for saving me! I'm an experienced knitter, but when I tried the Italian cast on, needing 84 stitches on small needles, it was a nightmare. This stretchy cast on was just what I needed.

    Wow, thank you! Usually, I have to watch several videos for new techniques until I can find a video I can understand and follow along... but you explained and demonstrated so clearly. Thank you!

    Great tutorial! Thank you so much. It was so good to watch such a clear demonstration with no unnecessary talking or music too. I wasted hours trying to learn a stretchy cast on last week and ended up giving up and using a long tail cast on on bigger needles. I'm halfway through the hat now but, will find some scrap yarn tomorrow so l can practice this. 😊

    Oh my goodness!!! I’ve just found my absolute favorite cast-on for socks! I’ve never seen this in the few years I’ve been knitting socks and it’s easy, doesn’t need a long tail (hate that guesswork), and looks fantastic in 1x1 rib. Thank you for this video. I’m going to share it to a few sock groups now.

    This is by far my favorite cast on. No tail measuring. And i cannot tell exactly but it really looks like the cast on row ends up the same as if you had done german twisted cast on if not a slight variation. Love love love this.

    Hi Ann! : ). Yup, it did look difficult but I think with practice I will get it. (sure hope so) You mentioned good for knitters , like myself who tend to knit tight. Thank you for ALL your video/tutorials! Take care and all the best to all of you and yours! ~~~Jo

    Well this is absolutely wonderful, I've used it 3 times since discovering your video yesterday. Is there a matching cast off? I did Italian bind off but they dont match visually

    • @CrazyHandsKnitting
      @CrazyHandsKnitting  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have not seen identical as a zigzag. On my channel you can find elastic bind off with yo before each stitch. Did you try it? Do you finish with ribbing as well?

    Is this the same as Jenny's magic cast on?

      I have heart only about Judy's cast on but it is not the same

      How does this wrap look?

    One quick question: If I am knitting in the round, how does that affect slipping the first stitch? Do I just slip it on the first joined row around after I have cast on my stitches?

    • @CrazyHandsKnitting
      @CrazyHandsKnitting  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You do not need to slip it if only you are using invisible joining method where you cast on extra stitch to join in round.

    The first row of K1 P1, you knitted the front loop. The next row, yourknit was in the back loop. Why tge difference?

    • @CrazyHandsKnitting
      @CrazyHandsKnitting  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Please knit as you usually knit. If you are doing it through the front loop, go on doing it after as well. I use continental way of knitting and grabbing the yarn a little bit differently, that is why after I knit through the back loops.
