I don't have siblings so i can't find this fully relatable but having a mother who is lazy and gives little care of your physical sanity is the closes thing i can say is like having an older sister. Everyday i look at the kitchen knives, hold one in my hand and can feel the immense power within it, the hatred that burns in my mind and heart like the flame of a stove. Starting off slow until the right conditions are met to elevate the heat and the anger gripping the blade right with a serious intent of rage.

However, in this series its not that Komi doesnt WANT to, she just finds it difficult, so i think she kinda went because it was an excuse to go. Najimi certainly would never pressure Komi, nor did he. As Komi said in the first episode, she is able to choose her friends, and Najimi certainly qualifies.

The way Komi's eyes are in this scene seems to settle my thoughts about them looking different based on what the "intended perspective" is. She has her "beautiful goddess" eyes around people who see her as an untouchable, aloof goddess, while her "anxious but adorable" eyes are for people who see her socially anxious self. Her brother, of course, knows about her social anxiety all too well, hence why she always has the "anxious but adorable" eyes around him.
