Yeah, a technology that has the potential to change the world is always worth considering, but we should still be fair in looking at the pros and cons of Tesla Bots. Yeah, they will assist people in their daily lives, boring and dangerous tasks, which will eventually free up people's time and they will also make a profit very quickly from the utility. On the other hand, they will also take away jobs, that's true. But there will also be a lot of jobs created when Optimus becomes popular! You can open a repair service or join the Tesla factory to produce them. In the end, whether it is negative or positive depends on how people use it
Yes. Because Elon Musk never lies or exaggerates. That’s why we have-all been driving around in cheap self-driving cars for the past 10 years and travelling between cities in vacuum tubes.
we understand Elon musk often misses deadlines and has a bit of hype about products. But if you pay attention, everything will eventually be as he says, it's just a matter of time that Tesla does those things
I swear, I actually thought of that particular US president before it was mentioned in the video. 😁 But I'm not complaining, he does act very human. I can already see myself saving up money to buy one. But one thing bothers me, especially because we saw several of them together. They are not individually recognizable, they all look the same. In the consumer sector, you should be able to customize the appearance with colors so that you can recognize your own self from a group of bots.
Yeah, people always say Optimus "walks like B*den", we find it quite funny every time we come across such comments, the truth is that Optimus's speed is still slow, this must be admitted. However, everything is just starting and until Optimus is in our hands, there is still a while, so we believe that eventually it will move faster and less like someone, lol. I think this would be very helpful for care takers and housewives. A robot could help load the dishwasher or help fold laundry when the mom can’t? Or take care of the kids while the mom makes food when the husband is at work? That sounds wonderful! If I ever have a seizure if I miss a medication, this robot could help call someone and take care of the kids while I’m blacked out.

Yeah, you can watch Optimus folding shirt video, he folds a shirt in just 30 seconds, but that was earlier this year, now it only takes 10 seconds to do it. Cooking, cleaning the house has never been a challenge for Optimus, his brain has recipes of thousands of dishes while his hands can manipulate amazingly, how much would you buy it for?

We know that Tesla Bot may not yet have enough to convince everyone, but it has only just begun in the past two years. It's still too early, right? Other companies have spent decades developing similar technologies without success, but Tesla is the only company worth expecting great things from.

With Tesla Bot, Tesla will have a central system that controls all potentially dangerous actions and prevents Optimus from doing so, you cannot easily command Optimus if it does not recognize you. It also automatically identifies dangerous weapons and needs to authenticate and authorize those weapons. Things are not as easy as you think, don't worry too much.
1:30 - I mean, that may be the intention, sure. But what happens when someone with ill intent hacks into one? What when someone programs it to block you from your door? Or to take your wallet/purse in the night to a car the hacker is in? Or to stab you in your sleep? What if a virus gets into the programming? What if data corrupts? I mean, you may build it and design it to be C-3P0, but it's capable of a lot more, and it's just a matter of a change in the programming before it does something else. And one skilled hacker/programmer with anarchy or from a hostile nation is all it would take, and now one - or potentially all - these robots are now a danger. That's the point in all those shows, books, and movies. Robots are governed by programming, and all it takes is some tweaks or faults in the programming, and they can change from helpful servant/worker to dangerous killing machine. Just a blade of any kind in those hands, and you're in trouble. Or a bat. Or a gun. Don't be so quick to dismiss decades of warning and just presume 'they won't do that'.
We understand this concern, but have you ever seen technologies like OpenAi or something being hacked? Nowadays, when building AI, companies always put security and safety first, everything must be authenticated by personal identification and face ID. With Tesla Bot, the company will have a central system to control any potentially dangerous actions and prevent Optimus from performing those actions, you cannot easily command Optimus if it does not recognize you. Things are not as easy as you think, don't worry too much
@EVTech02 Years ago, when self-driving cars were starting, a few different people demonstrated how, using a laptop, they could hijack the car controls. Turn cruise control on or off, accelerate or decelerate it. Engage emergency breaks. Turn out lights. Change gears. Now we haven't heard many stories about something like that actually happening; not that it would be easy to determine if it did should a car crash, because who's going to see a car accelerate and run off the road, and assume it was hacked, and not driver error? But the more salient point is: that can really only impact that one car. And if it does, and you detect it, there is opportunity to fix that exploit and prevent reoccurrences of it. A hacker infiltrating a central Tesla system to push out a hacked software/firmware update to a generation of robots only needs to happen once, and a genuine catastrophe occurs. In the time it takes for a software update to happen, you can go from thousands of robotic maids, to thousands of armed machines attacking people. Imagine it happens at 2am, when the most owners are sleeping. Is it likely? Probably not. Is it worth the risk? All so you don't have to do your own laundry or dishes?
So, you plan to purchase Elon’s robots? Don’t you think he’ll eventually be drowned out by other innovators and 'gurus' offering their own versions? The idea of personal robots is intriguing, but who programs them? Who owns them? We’re talking about a system where the same person who champions 'free speech' on X also manipulates the algorithms to fit his personal agenda. If we can’t trust the systems and decisions behind these technologies, can we really say we’re free?
This is definitely happening, but let's wait for SpaceX to succeed with their Starship, how do you think Optimus will perform on Mars, we mean the tasks it can do there, humans can completely control or command it from earth!
@EVTech02 it takes to long to activate control them from earth. They have to be mostly autonomous to function. They'll definitely do better than humans though. I think Elon's plan all along was always to use them for Mars to set up habitats and underground superstructure. We'll see how it goes. He may not be a great inventor but he's great at manipulating people and then motivating them. People come to him with ideas and inventions and he knows how to implement them to get seed money out of the government and private equity firms.
please elon, allow people modify them and make them compatible with molds WATHEVER YOU DO MAKE THEM COMPATIBLE WITH MOLDS WITHOUT OVERHEAT OR DAMAGE THEIR HARDWARE YOU GONNA MAKE EVERYONE WORK AND ENCOURAGE THEM TO KEEP WORKING DO IT MF DO IT LET SILLICONE MOLDS BE COMPATIBLE GOD DAMMIT but talking seriously, those robots could be helpful for disable people that cannot get out of their home to actually work, imagine a place has one for those ocassions and they just send a link for you wear some gloves and headset to control the robot atleast from the above part
Few years ago my nephews had those roller shoes on it looks like a regular shoes but it has a switch when they hit the switch the rooler Pop up and it turned into a roller shoes they just used it like a roller Tesla might be working on something similar It depends on the situation it can pop up the roller when going down hills 😅 or walk up the stairs 😅 with It, It might replace some workers and since it just requires some maintenance company can save money and pass down the savings to us just like the ATM first show up the banks are pushing hard for them because it can replace the teller 😅so now when we use the ATM and depends on the ATM network it could charge a processing fee for using the ATM 😂🤔😨 and we ended up p😅aying for the fee which can be lots of money 😅😡
So we have to teach it certain tasks ? But where is the line drawn? What if we get people teaching these robots to ☠️ people? I think this is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen in my life and I’m glad I’ll be gone forever by the time any of this really takes off..
No, Optimus is only limited by the number of tasks at the initial stage because it still needs more time to collect data. Like humans, we know and do more tasks as we grow older, if you study deeply in a certain field, you will do those tasks better because you are basically trained and familiarized. Optimus is the same, the more data, the longer training, the more tasks it will increase, hope you understand.

You can open a repair service or join the Tesla factory to produce them. In the end, whether it is negative or positive depends on how people use it
These would be used for labor soon
Exactly! It will be used to replace human labor, this is true!
i want my robot to drive my tesla
good idea and it's not too difficult for Optimus, the personal driver haha
Teslas drive automatically and the newer ones will have no wherls
@@EVTech02 Eventually Tesla’s will be 100% safe on self drive with no crashes and then everyone will be self driving around
$ 10,000.00 spending on USELESSNESS
It's not out yet, we don't have a definitive answer yet. But it's starting to show results now.
About your story, when you buy an Optimus, you can wear clothes, or print your name logo or Tesla can provide a custom design, don't worry because your bot will be lost in the crowd of robots, we believe so, thanks Pauld! please support our channel
The Elon Musk robot is like the Tesla truck it doesn't work. You are being fooled by this man and his lies.
Stop whining, at least he is helping America move forward. USA was built on new ideas, not every invention is flawless first time around therefore it's not being sold yet. Resist jumping on the trash talking, racist, defeatist, doomsday naysayer bandwagon that is causing the rot in your country. Just some free advice from South Africa where we really got Big problems 😂
The Tesla truck does work you are just too poor to buy it. You think they could release a car that cannot move?
I think this would be very helpful for care takers and housewives. A robot could help load the dishwasher or help fold laundry when the mom can’t? Or take care of the kids while the mom makes food when the husband is at work? That sounds wonderful! If I ever have a seizure if I miss a medication, this robot could help call someone and take care of the kids while I’m blacked out.
You are so smart! To talk about the utility and benefits of Tesla Bot, we probably can't tell it all, but one thing we bet is that it will be the best home maker in the world when it goes on sale, how much will you buy it for, we hope the price will not exceed $30,000, thank you, please support our channel
Complains that the robots can turn against us. Ah it’s not fast or agile enough!
I'm not paying a dime over $1,200
Real life starwars
CP3O in real world!
the white van that says free candy on it and we run like little brain damaged children. Stranger danger doesn’t exist if it’s a large corporation handing out the candy…
Im gunna make one work from home on a computer and double my income, then buy more and get them too do the same thing.
you mean you will form a Optimus team to work with computers and make money, great idea! you need a break but it seems Optimus doesn't
until they rip your head off when they are programmed to be self-aware
I want to have one that can cook for me and in complete do house chores. It would be a dream . Better than trusting some maids thwt steals from others. But i wish they can do their work faster😂, cant wait for my clothes to be fold in 1 hours per piece
“Assisting the elderly”. Must help old lady…must help old lady…robot proceeds to pull the wig off and trip the old lady.
In all seriousness, this thing is pretty sweet even if it does putz walk like sleepy Joe.
LOL, soon walk like Trump !
Serão futuros motoristas, disciplinados, serão médicos, serão seguranças de personalidades! Serão mais confiáveis do que humanos.
I see many practical purposes for people other than me….I will continue doing the same chores I’ve always done.. Just not ready for mr roboto to be buzzing around my house ….
We know that Tesla Bot may not yet have enough to convince everyone, but it has only just begun in the past two years. It's still too early, right? Other companies have spent decades developing similar technologies without success, but Tesla is the only company worth expecting great things from.
@ Having said all that I do think its as cool as can be. Tbe people designing these things are amazing. I’m not even against it. I do look forward to my daily routine’s. Keeps my 62 year old self in shape…… At one time i was following Boston Dynamics not knowing Tesla was into it. BD is way behind these guys..
It's like a Borg 😂 It will go back to it's station for rest and recharge 🤔 plug itself in 😅
If i get a Tesla bot im naming him Bender
Hey Bender! Pls bring me beer, foot massage and dinner. OMG, just thinking about it makes us excited
Give me a robot
have to buy 3th generation i am sure price will drop less then 2k
OMG, do you mean $2K or $20K, if you say $2K we are afraid it is impossible, even a Bot action figure costs $40! Thank you
@@EVTech02 below 2k at the moment not possible will be soon also all eletrice items will be so cheap
@@Mr.Jack2023 We like your optimism, so wait for more, please support our channel, thank you
Keep on dreaming 😂
what if the robot watched a serial killer video will it also turn into a serial killer grab a knife and stab people?
With Tesla Bot, Tesla will have a central system that controls all potentially dangerous actions and prevents Optimus from doing so, you cannot easily command Optimus if it does not recognize you. It also automatically identifies dangerous weapons and needs to authenticate and authorize those weapons. Things are not as easy as you think, don't worry too much.
Yes. I ain't having the robot walking into my room at 3am getting into my bed or else I'm gonna put a key lock for my door.
At least it helps with people with like sickness and diffrent and dangerous stuff
Elon robet are earth angels lol
Everything crazy and never happen, we never think about, Elon musk will do it and it will be successful
I know the perfect use for Elon's robots. Send them to Mars to set up habitats !
Does this robot has personality?
It will learn habits and understand user personality, is this enough for you to buy it?
please elon, allow people modify them and make them compatible with molds WATHEVER YOU DO MAKE THEM COMPATIBLE WITH MOLDS WITHOUT OVERHEAT OR DAMAGE THEIR HARDWARE YOU GONNA MAKE EVERYONE WORK AND ENCOURAGE THEM TO KEEP WORKING DO IT MF DO IT LET SILLICONE MOLDS BE COMPATIBLE GOD DAMMIT
but talking seriously, those robots could be helpful for disable people that cannot get out of their home to actually work, imagine a place has one for those ocassions and they just send a link for you wear some gloves and headset to control the robot atleast from the above part
We are cooked
iRobot vibes here lol
But the truth is Tesla We robot haha, don't confuse the Irobot scenario here!
It will be great if the robot turns against humans because we are the worst thing on earth. We are mischief all goods God gives us.
This will never happen, never! Optimus will be dependent on humans and controlled by the Tesla system! Rest assured. Thank you!
It does the same gesture and walk like most Chinese version, makes me wonder if it is outsourced from china xpeng company.
Xpeng only recently announced its humanoid robot plans, so isn't Xpeng copying Tesla?

Is the plan to potentially live via VR thru these? With AI support? Maybe virtually gamers could be the next line of defenses, from the comfort of their secret game layers. 😅 Sounds obnoxious unless you've lived in the gaming generation long enough. 😢 Artificial beings created as such, should definitely get a retirement life function after a certain amount of years. :/ 😅 even my phone and laptop need to reset on occasion. 🙂
Why has elon created robots that walk like Joe Biden? Is he actually a robot? I always thought that he was just a puppet.
Walking like Joe Biden exists in every humanoid robot, it's a way for the robot to maintain its balance as best as possible. However, Tesla engineer Milan Kovac said the team is trying to improve Optimus's gait to look as natural as possible.
We’re gonna have a invincible situation you know that Robo guy that’s really some deformed little guy in a glass tube operating a robot body give it 15 years you will be hearing about robotic superheroes
