What do you do with the fall leaves on your gardens? I get a lot of falling leaves from my trees and all the other trees in the neighborhood. I gather all my leaves and mulch them, then use them for gardens and composting. I get up to 8 bags. I'm concerned on what to do with this xeriscape garden with the squeegee gavel on what to do.

I'm so glad you compost and mulch your leaves! I left the leaves on the squeegee through the winter and then cleaned them up along with the plants in the spring. Here's the video where I talked about spring clean up th-cam.com/video/f7IjfOpLt9s/w-d-xo.htmlsi=js7wh1COYUpReb_b

@@Elucero108 I did watch this video, you have way less leaves than I do. What I've done is use a leaf blower on a low speed to get them out of some flower areas, although I do live to leave them there over the winter.

While I've not personally planted a Mexican plum in my garden we have one growing wild in our yard, and had one growing wild in my last house too. I'm in Denver area but I'd think would apply well to Colo Springs. They seem to be quite resilient and drought tolerant.
