I’d love a mainstream game with this as the battle mechanics , I know people love the traditional battle styles but if they did this for the games I get it would be a lot of work but it would deffo make it feel more real and like the anime :)
I love Lucario and Braixen in this cutscene. Seriously, let's all just take a moment to aprreciate the fur/scale/skin detail on the Pokemon. It looks top-notch

What we need is a water starter, a flying type, a rock type, a dedicated ice type (weavile doesn't use any ice attacks), a bug type, a dedicated fairy type (Gardevoir doesn't count and doesn't use any fairy moves), and a dedicated steel type (lucario doesn't really count)
They made the pokemon in the trailer look good but the game might not have that good graphics it always happens when im watching commercials and trailers like these
We desperately need a sequel to this, especially after how amazing Tekken 8 was and how there’s a lot from that game that could be implemented into a sequel that would make Pokken pop off and succeed its predecessor.

MrRukrio1 I was thinking that as well, but wasn't sure if the OP would get such a specific reference. Personally though, I think the Charade idea would be more fun with Zoroark. Especially if there were an indicator on the user's screen to show which Pokémon it's imitating, but not on the opponent's. Give Zoroark the element of surprise since that's Zoroark's thing, but perhaps with some sort of small tradeoff so that early match advantage isn't too broken.
+MrRukrio1 I'm suriprised they haven't done this, since this is the same guys who made Soul Calibur/Tekken. Ditto would make a great stand-in for Mokujin/Charade/Edgemaster/etc.
So many of my favorites made it into this game as a fighter or support; Gengar, Eevee, Umbreon, Blaziken, and Garchomp. Only one missing now is Chesnaught!
