All captures where taken hand held, using wide are large with animal detect "no 3D tracking used" in manual mode, auto ISO, using lossless compressed raw with FPS set at 15. Some captures also used the Sigma 1.4X TC. Edited with DXOPhotolab5 and Affinity Photo.
Obviously not every image can be tack sharp, But did you find that the majority of those photos were as sharp as the ones you put in the video? Or did you have the odd soft one?? Great shots man, Im really considering getting this lens in the future!
Thanks for watching. In regards to the keeper rate, let's just say it's insane. I would say it's a eighty five to ninety percent hit rate "sharp images", which also depends on the operator. This "problem" has caused me to having to purchase more hardrive space. I use 10 gigabyte barracuda red drives. Not chansing my images with lesser quality drives. I also don't store anything on the "cloud". The Sigma 500mm f4 sports is one fantastic piece of glass. Beautiful photographs. Just curious... did you purchase the Sigma mount, or the F-Mount and then use the FTZ adapter? How good was the autofocus speed?
Thank you. The Sigma lens was purchased a few years ago with the F-mount, which I have used with the D500 and D850 for years with excellent results before purchasing the Z9. In regards to the Z9 and FTZ adapter and the Sigma 500mm f4, it is the same as using it on an F-mount camera, no difference, the autofocus speed is the same "fast" as it would be using the lens on an F-mount camera. All my other F-mount lenses work the same with the FTZ adapter as they would with a Nikon DSLR.
Beautiful❤️
Thank you.
Great photographs! One question, does the sigma stabilizer work on the nikon z9? and the Nikon Z9 stabilizer with this combination? Thanks
Yes it does. The OS works as it should with the Z9. It works just the same as with any other F-mount lens.

Great shots! Where do you go for the eagle shots?
Thank you. In regards to Eagles, they are widespread all across the US. These captures where taken on the East Coast.
@@jfphotography69 the East Coast is a big place.
@@hankdinardo4308 I know. I also don't like to share my exact location on the world wide web.
@@jfphotography69 how about a state and city?
