First of all CONGRATS! This track, the racing, the design, the production as a whole and you as an announcer/commentator/personality: all of it is so damn good! I can’t wait to tune in every time because this track provides pure unadulterated racing. No forced cuts, always intimate with the cars, wide turns for incredible unpredictable passing. Fantastic debut of The Big O super speedway, Nick!! You've definitely got our collective brains chewing on unraveling _just how did you do this_ ?? Loved the driver intros & associated graphics, plus the slightly slowed down playback as the racers approached the line for their rolling start and then *zoom* accelerating right off to racing speed, quite convincing camera play here!! Awesome premiere tonight and thanks for the show!!
Thank you, sir!!! A lot of thought and efforts behind the scenes went into the “illusion” of this track. From the rolling start to the “going around and around”. Lots of things that could have went wrong in the build process but overall I’m very happy. Since recording this video I have don’t a few modifications to the turns and the track runs even SMOOTHER now. Can’t wait to share the NEXT Video

Maybe TTC has invented a perpetual motion machine!! More seriously, if the whole track table was pivotted like a see-saw you could impart momentum to the cars by tilting the table one way then the other - but we'll just have to keep guessing until all is revealed!

The question has been soundly answered, what would a tri-oval super speedway look like in our hobby! It's such a wild departure from road courses we're accustomed to seeing, and executed on video so well!

But after my track impression rant I would also like to say this was definitely one tough group to come out on top of. Outlaw is faster than f%ck. Sneaky Bob too. I’m just glad I got some screen time since I was in the same heat as R-Lo.

Big C, I had to come back to these comments after reading what you said on the most recent video. Yup, you can't please everyone as a host, doesn't matter the level of work put in, or the new directions taken in the hobby. You never have to look far to find one or two opinionated folks online. Well I’m gonna be honest I have mixed feelings about this new track. First off I LOVE the concept. I really do. I have a Street Stock Series that I’ve grown over the years that I wanted this exact track for. But I then after watching a second and third time I don’t think it would work. I need to see some more racing to give me true opinion but first glance I love it. Perfect concept. I will have some questions for you but I’m afraid I know the answer already. Is there a reason why you start them single file?
But truly I love how you choreograph the video and you make it look continuous. Great job.
First of all, the track is continuous. No video editing trickery or anything there. It’s non stop.
As for the single file start, the first turn wasn’t performing up to my standards the way we had it. The outside cars were hitting the in ramp and rocketing inward to “squish” the inside cars. It resulted in the outside front car breaking loose and getting WAY ahead of the pack. Then i was just filming a single car and the racing wasn’t exciting. Single file yielded better racing so we went this route. That being said, I 100% wanted to come up with a solution to run cars in a grid. 4,6,8, and even 10 cars for some events. Soo I scratched my head for awhile and talked with Russ at spoolheads… we ended up designing the first in ramp with a median (that continues from the dual lane start area). Having the median in the ramp allows the cars to stay apart longer and gets them up into the banked turn so when they go to open track, there’s far less chaos.
We also noticed some performance issues with the longer in ramps on the rest of the track. The cars were hitting the inside wall before entering the turn. Those have been swapped out with shorter ramps and vehicles are running MUCH better. You should see a big change going into the next video. However, because I ran the first group single file, the rest of the trucks will run that format as well. 💪🏼💪🏼. If you have any questions, comments, concerns… I’m an open book. @@TinyTrackCars no hate mail at all. Like I said the series I ran I think is pretty popular. I don’t pretend to be great at it but I do put a lot of work into it. And as I said once I get a better sample size I will have bette questions but for now I will just say great job.

I think it awesome. As im building one myself. That is separate but also a part of the road course . With a crossing or figure eight or what have you it's been a challenge but fun as can be . I enjoyed your production. Keep it coming. I'll keep watching.

Very clever track build (two stacked loops). However, I feel the same about this as I do about actual NASCAR ... I like right turns too. -- I know this was a lot of work but it's not going to be my cup of tea. -- I'll be back for the next track.

It does set the mind to marveling at how it all works!! I'll refrain from giving the detail of my own thoughts here, but rest assured I'm in awe of how the illusion is so well maintained throughout. LOL, I was even pausing the video, looking closely at the clouds!
I have really fast unicorns that fly in after lap one and swap that section of the track out before we come back around. 💪🏼💪🏼. If you need to borrow them, they are $10/hr and ONLY perform magic.

If you’re a viewer this is pretty cool. If you’re a diecast racer you hate this. I get it, the comments will be full of people that will tell you what you want to hear but trust me the serious racer hates this. It’s not meant to be mean, there’s no need to be angry. But this isn’t it.

Saying “diecast racers are going to hate this”…… is speaking for everyone and i personally know many diecast racers that love what I build and don’t want other speaking for them.
