I saw this somewhere for the first stanza. I can't speak Japanese either. I do think the first stanza probably sums up the novel she was writing and trying to fit Hidenori into. The boy who handles the wind, his eyes filled with sadness - the half moon which lacks some part of this world - is still searching for you [with whom] he shared his soul.

It's a comedy, and a brilliant one. Romance has too little place in it, maybe that's why they put it in the ending. Half the lines are just from their embarrassing attempts to start a dialogue, though. As another comedy, I can also recommend Grand Blue.
