Easily one of the best callbacks, only time a call back gave me more chills was when they did the call back to season 1 tokyo ghoul in the final episode and have the singer, redo the song in acapella (no instruments)
It's gonna be really cathartic to hear him get agigated and frustrated in the anime when it gets to that cilmatic point of the story. And even before THAT character shows up.

They were a pair of brothers who lived only for each other, and even said they had no true attachments to the curses- honestly they probably could have been persuaded to be on the MCs side somehow, but that wouldn't fit the show sadly.
I am happy that many have come back to this video and unanimously agree that this has to play AGAIN in a couple years in the anime for that MOMENT in the final battle. :D

Its all about the brothers fighting for their livelihood, then suddenly, as the drum beats faster for them realizing theyre now going to die? The song is stolen by our real protagonist, with their own beliefs changing the entire track
Also, at a certain part (not included in the anime) it really feels like Eso, in his final moments, realizing that Kugisaki uses effigies and linked parts to work her jujutsu, speaks to his brother. 3:25

I think I commented this a while back but in case I didn't I'll say it again. I love how the lyrics "it's not right or wrong" match up with the way Yuji feels about killing in general. It's not about whether killing your enemies is right its about defending yourselves and protecting those who need it regardless of the means you need to resort to.
One of the best fights in anime. Phenomenal animation, banging soundtrack, moves timed with the soundtrack, character development, and villains that were not 1 dimensional but still villains you wanted to see get a beating. Amazing fight.

it's not so original, it's just that mappa adapted it and in the musical aspect always does a good job with things like that An example is "Weight of my pride" in Hajime no Ippo (mappa did it too)
The music isn't meant for Nobara alone tbh, more so Yuuji and Nobara's battle against the two brothers and the moral weight behind it, especially with how Yuuji is handling it.
