She actually was fighting, but in her head they were all dancing. From the moment where she's standing there while everyone else is fighting until the explosion. It's a nod to the Pyro from Team Fortress 2 haha.
They aren’t fighting. Burnice and the girl are just talking and Burnice is telling her that if she get a bit silly and not take that seriously her problems, she can make them all disappear
It's part of her combat scene that most demo trailers have, from 0:53 to 1:33 is meant to be her fighting but we see what's it's like inside of her head.

@@FoxeyeValkyrie Not everyone was directly fighting in that sequence. She probably served drinks and distracted two arguing guys until they were confused enough to make up, helped the (brokenhearted?) girl from the beginning and a bunch of other customers at Cheesetopia(?), had a scuffle with a couple of stray ethereals, but the real battle that night was probably the dance-off with the hollow raider group. It ends with that explosion blowing them all away.
But I agree, it's all the same in her head, she just goes wild and everyone around her ends up having a blast, one way or another.
That's one hell of a reach. The core of Meet the Pyro is the juxtaposition of what the other mercs see vs. what Pyro sees being actually shown to us. We only ever see what Burnice sees in this demo so you're literally just making stuff up.

I already got Ceasar so I can't pull for Burnice anymore. I guess my preference is clear ;). She would have been a good addition to my Fire team and replace my Koleda with her. @@GrieferBeyond21 i think the reason why Jane Doe didn't have EP because the EP will represent the characters's inner side ( ZY for balancing work and family, Ceasar for gap moe,etc...). Meanwhile we as Proxy didn't interact with Jane that much in the storyline and its pretty hard to know what Jane is thinking and her inner side so yeah thats my opinion about it
