Ramirez is one of the top right handed hitters in the game’s history. For 14 seasons he hit at least .300 with 30 home runs and had at least 100 RBI. Mr. Consistent.
And most post seasons home runs ever
@@charleynewman4783 And most steroids taken.
@@blakeadams965steroids should be mandatory for this dying game😂😂😂
Crazy he never won an mvp. He had 165 rbi one year in Cleveland.
I know the PEDs taint his legacy, but man his swing was a thing of beauty. One of the best hitters ever.
There were minor league players who juiced that never made it out of the minors. PED's alone can't explain Manny's greatness. Like Bonds and Clemens, Manny was great before he used enhancements .If Big Papi is in the HOF, Manny should join him.
@@stuartperry1047facts!! I make this point every time I get into this conversation with someone. Many players in the minors have been caught. You still need the talent, skill, work ethic, dedication etc to be that great
Peds 🤣 MLB scapegoating all those poor players.
Stupid writers need to stop being idiots. Manny in Cleveland was a savage no bs
My favourtite player
Manny Ramirez should be in the baseball ⚾️ hall of Fame one day. 😀👍⚾️
Nah he got caught too many times
I don’t think many people realize how special of a hitter he was. Tied for 2nd only behind Babe Ruth in number of “Hall of Fame Seasons” years hitting at least .300 with at least 100 RBI and 30 HR.
Without looking it up I think Babe Ruth had 14 Manny, Barry and Pujols had 10 each I believe.
That day should be right now
If the Astros can keep they’re trophy bonds ramirez clemens rose everyone should be in it should be about what the real fans think
@@LeafararrabiDos09 most teams were cheating the year the astros won. including the dodgers… stuff most people don’t know
It blows my mind that I was lucky enough to see Manny hit that walk off against the Angels in 2007 at my first ever playoff game. The greatest night of my life by that point in time. Magical.
Griffey has the best lefty swing of all time, but Manny has the best righty swing of all time.
I have said the same thing for years. 100%
Miguel Cabrera's is easily better. Just sublime.
Larry Walker for Lefties
Or Ted Williams
Cap puljols did
Concur. Smooth and pretty righty swing
The way he walks off after hitting a homer is legendary
Goosebumps on number one 😄
Best right handed swing I ever seen so beautiful to watch!!
I remember when the Red Sox used to have players like this. Those were the days...
Dude 2018 was only 5 years ago players like these aren’t exactly ancient history for the Sox
That last home run, which is number one on the countdown, the announcer said was going into the Boston night, and I think it went all the way to the Mass Pike
One of the best swings ever imo
Dam he was so so good, what a treat to watch
El mejor flow de grandes ligas en el juego y la forma de actuar en el juego la tenía Manny Ramírez 🇩🇴
Manny Ramirez one of my favorite baseball players ever !!! 😁
Yo IMaxx Plays! He's also one of my favorite players too! Love the videos, keep up the good work!
He is my favorite player ever.
@@davidmancini8286 mvp
He is one of the best right handed hitters of all time.
My fav player growing up. I used to get crap for it because I’m Puerto Rican and of course mannys Dominican but manny was just different man.
To this day, the best pure hitter I’ve ever seen.
The kid.....
Eso mismo e dicho no e visto un bateador tan fino como ese
You must've missed that Bonds or Ichiro guys.
@@jameshurley9551people don’t consider bonds because of steroids but what people don’t get is steroids don’t help u make bat to ball contact
Larry Walker
Ted Williams
Ya es hora que lo añaden al salón de la fama. Saludos desde Borinquén
The sweetest swing in all of baseball.
Not quite, Griffey’s is the best of all time
Así es
Nota: bateadores derecho
He needs to come to the show 😩 I could really see him being a major threat in DD
Yeah honestly
I said this as soon as I figured out he’s not in the new ones too
Imagine a no doubter with him and he just walks halfway to 1st celebrating🔥 🔥
Red sox peaked back when they had manny Rameriz and ortiz in the same line up
I mean they won 2 more without manny I don’t think that’s peaking but that was there most entertaining team.
I picked Manny up at the airport in Toyko, drove him and his uncle around for a few days and hooked him up with all the R35 people I knew... and he still owes me money for that. At least I got to keep 15 of his game bats.
Posting a highlight reel of a player that is arguably the best example of the Red Sox front office having success with a big money/long-term contract just seems too paradoxical given the events of the past few off-seasons...
Man, I miss these days. Manny, Papi, & Don Orsillo & Jerry Remy with the call.
4:06 bat teleported out his hands after he hit it
I remember I was like 10 or 11 and I BEGGED by Dad to buy me a Manny jersey because he was my favorite player but by Dad was a baseball purist and didn't like all the on field antics so I went to my grandma and asked if I could clean her house every weekend for some money and I bought my first Red Sox jersey a few months later.
God, the sweet sound of Manny Ramirez making contact with the baseball.
Always loved how he’d kill balls and just drop the bat in .02 seconds 😂
El bate más respetado de la historia de la mlb
Game 1 2003 against the Yankees homerun was in the ALCS not the ALDS
Thought I was trippin
It's funny bc they posted the ALDS vs the As that year as well 😅
Yeah and wasn't the Manny homer in the ALDS in Game 5, not 4 LMAO. Whoever made this was definitely pushing the midnight oil
Manny didn’t have a bat flip. He had a trot strut.
Manny Ramirez the Best Player...
#2 made me miss the old busch memorial stadium
Watch the umps eyes after the 2007 alds walk off 😂😳
simply the best
Love Don Orcillo..."Manny #500 One more step to the Hall!"
his bat flip too iconic
Simple just
Manny being Manny
Epic
I love how he keeps his arms up, after the grandsalami
Manny ramierez is the randy johnson of hitting, very intimidating
My favorite Red Sox player and IDC as a Yankees fan when I grew up he dominated us
What a fun player to watch
the best
I love Manny!!!😊
The best
His swing was so pretty
El único en dar joron en todo los pley en grande ligas Manny Ramírez el batiador más temido de todos los tiempos
Manny one of my all time favs!! Didnt he have 165 rbis in a season before?
Manny Ramirez first grand slam was August 19th, 2001. Less than a month later the September 11th terror attacks happened. How much did the track change in the world, including sports, after that horrific event?
well it was his first one with the Red Sox he had several grand slams with the Indians prior to joining the Red Sox.
I was 12 years old at the first game at Fenway after 9/11. Sat in the first row right on the left field line, right before the wall goes parallel to the foul line.
The only game I ever brought a glove, because I had to defend myself from Manny and Nomar.
My boy who was a SOLIDIFIED 1st INDIANS ballplayer who I followed as a role model quite every day during my little league years DESERVES the frkn HOF!!!!! You don't need it to accomplish the hardest feat in ALL SPORTS!!! WHICH IS ROUND BAT MEET SQUARE ⬛️.....Whatever you drink or not ....you still have to hit the DAMN BALL!!! Not like he HIT 1,000 career home runs so chill the f out!!!!
My boy Manny
Best FA signing in Sox history
The best hitter in all history is Manny Ramirez. we call him the baseball wizard
2003 against the Yankees was the ALCS not the ALDS.
Jamás eh podido ver tan semejante jugador Dios mio
I fucking loved manny on the redsox
He belongs in the Hall of Fame!
I think the 2003 home run vs the Yankees was the ALCS not the ALDS btw
Jose Ramirez stance reminds me of Manny Ramirez
Manny ❤
El mejor para mi
Yankees kryptonite he didnt fear them and has the highest consistent avg in the playoffs when the Yankees was almost untouchable
El super manny el mejor 💪
Manny must be in the Hof because David Ortiz was attending the school of hard Knocks when He met the Unbelievable Manny being Manny.
Extend Devers
Dios mío qué tiempo🙌
Una injusticia lo que le hicieron para que no llegue a los 600 y para dejarlo fuera del salon de la fama
Shit. I didn’t know that the RedSox played the Yankees and Athletics in the ALDS in 2003
That’s awesome one team was able to play two teams at the same time. Haha
Hall of fame from Boston Red Sox
You could just always rely on him. If the Sox were in trouble and Manny stepped up you figured something could really happen.
El mejor
.312 career avg 555 home runs 2574 hits 1831 RBIs 2x World Series champion World Series MVP 12x all star 9x silver slugger and a batting title…definitely hall of fame numbers unfortunately the stats are questionable because of PEDS in some peoples eyes hell of a player hell of a Red Sox but we’ll most likely never get in the HOF
The 2nd one in this list-the ball was like shoulder level; not today ball….c ya
🙌🙌🙌
Manny is Manny
El mejor bateador qué tenía MLB el super MANNY RAMIREZ 💪💪💪💪
Manny bat flipped long before it was cool. His personality had a major impact on the game, and a very positive one in my opinion.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Time that if Boston were loosing we didn’t go to sleep still end because we always had a chance to come back
Remember when the Red Sox used to sign big time players with big time contracts?
If you have trouble remembering something that happened less than a year ago with Trevor Story, you should see a doctor.
Tied for 63rd in AAV. Not a big time player, not a big time contract.
MANNY!!
Cuando los juegos eran emocionante.
El mejor paramiiiii
How the hell is Manny not in the Hall ?
I think cuz PEDs :/
If The HOF Had A Swagger Section Manny Ramirez Would Be A Statue @ The Entrance.
It’s in his hair lol
Wow 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
These Dominicanos got sonthing ❣️
Yes sunthing
Sampson and Goliath
How many pitchers looked forward to facing Papi #3 and Manny #4? Even Mariano the Great dreaded that.
Mashed potatoes!
Manny absolutely punished baseballs……
The Best Bat
Manny Being Manny
That was not game one of the ALDS in 2003. That was the league championship series against the Yankees. We played the Oakland As in the division series. Please correct that.
when will they retire his number?
All juiced HR
La número #4 fue el juego 5 y no el 4. Ya que el juego 4 habia sido en Boston un día antes.
Where’s the one he hit to the pike?!?
Nunca dejes de orar y darle muchas GRACIAS A DIOS POR TODO LO QUE TE DA Y TE QUITA DE RODILLA SIEMPRE ANTE DIOS FE EN DIOS Y EN TI MISMO SIEMPRE ,NI TE ACUESTES NI TE LEVANTES SIN DARLE MUCHAS GRACIAS A DIOS POR TODO
#10 was a 491 footer the very next night he hit one at least 535 feet halfway up the fourth deck in the same area I just watching it on another video but what about the 580 footer he hit on the sixth lane of the Mass Pike that should be the Fenway park record but they didn’t want to get rid of the red seat
580ft lmfao. Shut up bro
Damn it! Was he good?
Aw man it’s hard to think about all the crap people say about him him and Papi were 2 reasons I love baseball
#6 incorrectly says the 2003 ALDS. That’s the ALCS. Red Sox played Oakland in the ALDS
Head down stays inside the baseball
Remember when Manny tried to strangle the zionist which got him the exit from the Red Sox .
TRIX CEREAL 🥣
