He just barely foul tipped the pitch before this, everyone at Fenway was pretty much expecting him to hit a homer in but it looked like he’d struck out. However he correctly knew that he foul tipped it and got another chance with a full count. Very next pitch he sent to the bullpen! The place went absolutely bananas it was pandemonium. One of the best sporting events I’ve ever attended!
