I use reusable grocery bags to organize my freezer. They work great for me. I put all of one cut of meat into a bag so that way I don’t have to hunt for a specific cut. Hope this helps.
Hey! I bought my waffle maker over a decade ago, so it's over priced now on amazon and only sold as used. amzn.to/456NFPD K But I did find one that is much cheaper and newer! amzn.to/44ZkZYH I have seen ones that make 4 at a time but theres no way I would pay the cost of them.
Can you please share how you can up Cherry Pie filling. All the ones I've seen uses Clear-Jel which is so unhealthy & I'm just not comfortable using...whole point of canning is to keep things healthy! Help please! Thanks 😊
I don't remember how many pounds exactly, maybe 400? It was a whole cow. It was just much smaller than the ones they sell in February that they grow out over winter.
I did not process or slaughter an animal during this video, so I have nothing to be discreet about. I've actually seen the majority of homestead channels butcher their animals on video for How To videos. We don't have cows. We bought our cow from a local ranch because we cannot raise them ourselves. I'm not other homesteaders and do not try to be like others or be compared to others. If processing animals is a sensitive subject to you it's a way of life and a way of living and a reminder not everything comes neat and packaged from a store. That's part of homesteading and striving to be self-sufficient.
Childhood me was happy to see Bob and Larry on the bookshelf ❤️
😊❤️

For freezer I use reusable grocery bags. Put like things together and can pull out easy to get things underneath
🇦🇺When my kids were small I would make a chocolate slab cake for the freezer.

@rockymountainhomesteadwith8092 We just purchased our first 1/4 today! I'll be interested to see if we too get more meat in the winter!
The other homesteaders are much more discreet about slaughtering their animals. I don't like to be reminded.
