G'day Sammy! In the progress of getting a jigging setup, once question about the overhead, how does the line go back onto the spool? Like a bait caster or will it just stack in the middle? Cheers!

Im a beginner started to learn how to jig. I bought several jigs including this slow one. I tried whole day at the sea between 24 to 30 M water depth. Guess what, i caught non. Im pretty sure I performed the wrong movement from slow to quick with this slow jig at 60 grams. Anything lighter may not perform well due to strong current. I tried fast retrieve, treated it like fast jig. I saw fishes tailed it to the surface but refused to bite on it. It was an experiment for me to use different jigs and movement just to see which one to work out. I guess have a long way to learn. Will try it again until i catch one with this slow jig. I had a great experience when I first caught a barracuda with a 150g fast jig at 100M water depth. It was amazing.
Yes mate, definately. Go for a jig with glow in dark finish. TIP - if getting hits but no hookups, attach a set of squid barbs....even the whole squid jig if thats all you have.
