Thank you for continually supporting Bret, I met him once at signing. He was so nice and receptive to his fans. Everyone was pushy for his time, yet he was so nice and understanding. He's a true inspiration for working through Hogan's politics to being the World Champion. He put over Bob Backlund even when everyone thought he was crazy, and didn't deserve the rub. Bret's overall wrestling skills, there's bar none. In 97, bar none great mic skills. Bret's the best ever.

The first time I saw Bret Hart wrestle was in the summer of 1988, in Calgary, in the Saddledome, during the Calgary Stampede, in a tag match with Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart against The Killer Bee's... I was 15 and it was awesome!!!
Fun fact about the Hart/Piper match: During the match, Hart bladed which was a no-no at the time. After the match, Hart and Piper got into a fake fight backstage to fool the boys into thinking Piper punched Hart for real during the match, which caused Hart to bleed. Suffice to say, everyone was fooled, Hart and Piper kept on celebrating and Hart was not fined. However, later on the card during the Savage VS. Flair match, Flair was not as sneaky and was caught blading on camera, which resulted in him getting fined.
RC99 Productions Bret also suggested Austin bleed for their match in Wrestlemania 13 and even though it wasn’t allowed he asked Austin to trust him,he did it in a way you never see even to this day and even Austin confirmed that
Bret also came up with the idea for the finish in the Iron man match with Shawn at WM12. I saw an interview one time where Scott hall said he was in brets house one time and stumbled into his bedroom and there was a giant portrait of Bret wearing his wrestling outfit with the belt around his waist painted on the ceiling directly above his bed. Talk about marking out for your own gimmick. Lol. I can actually picture this in my mind.

I have to agree that Bret had many great matches as a singles wrestler that I can’t simply just say which was his very best. I remember Bret mentioning something to the effect of his trying to push wrestlers’ ring abilities rather than their character. All the times I’ve watched him wrestle, whether it was on TV or at a live event-definitely a thrill!-Bret never disappointed me. I voted for Bret and thanks for making this...excellently executed!

This was my favorite era of wwf many people don't give it credit for how good the matches were. Yes alot of gimmicks didn't get over but Bret Shawn Owen Undertaker set the stage for the attitude era.
Bret was screwed so many times by Vince in my opinion when it comes to the championship belt. It was like Bret was just holding on to it for a bit until Vince found his next guy! Bret gets title in 92, Vince gives it back to hogan , Bret gets belt in 94, vince gives it to diesel, Bret gets it again , Vince gives it to HBK. Bret deserved to be THE guy for a good while as champion. Just seems like Vince didn’t think Bret had what it took or something
One of the greatest honours was to have Bret sign my photo that I had taken with him and then sign my Hitman glasses. He then talked to me about the video where Warrior buries Hogan and how the Hulk is only out for the Hulk. It was amazing!!! I was late for the event and Bret allowed me to go to his dressing room on my own and meet him and have a photo and a short chat. The Hulk convo was later in the event and I was blown away by how cool Bret was.
To me, Bret didn't really need to talk much. Those who say that his promo skills were a bit 'shaky' might be right, but he backed himself up in a big way with his attention to detail in the ring, where it mattered. Bret = BANK, all day long. There's a reason why he's in the WWE HOF, after all. o.o

Not really. Dynamite Kid was the one who broke that glass ceiling. And even then only in WWF because WWF was always the only wrestling promotion where "big guys" were the only ones allowed to be main-eventers or even mid-carders.
Very lucky to have met Bret Hart earlier this year. He asked me my favorite match, i told him too many to name, but him vs. Vince stands out as Vince said that's the end of the "Mr.McMahon character" to which Bret replied "Yeaa don't hold your breath. 😂

There is no denying how good of a wrestler Bret Hart was. He could wrestle a slice of cheese and make it a five star match. Theres just so much negativity surrounding him when it comes to other wrestlers opinions. Sour grapes? Who knows there just seems to be to many stories. Once again a great vid my friend. I really like your videos. It blows my mind to see that Bret and Shawn wrestled over one hundred times and Shawn only had those 3 losses, I had no idea. I was Bret/Shawn fan growing up. More Bret then, more Shawn now.
That timespan definitely encompasses the very zenith of Bret's career. That's when he REALLY was, the best there is, the best there was and, arguably, the BEST there ever will be.
Bret hart was an extraordinary wrestler he might lack the mic skills but sure made up for his wrestling skills he definitely was a 10/10 wrestler it bothers me when people always said shawn was better sure he was a better showman but bret was a better wrestler.
The older I get the more I appreciate how great Bret really was, probably the best in ring competitor of all time imo

To me, Bret didn't really need to talk much. Those who say that his promo skills were a bit 'shaky' might be right, but he backed himself up in a big way with his attention to detail in the ring, where it mattered. Bret = BANK, all day long. There's a reason why he's in the WWE HOF, after all. o.o

definitely Bret vs Shawn at mania 12 was my favorite match of all time two of the greats able to keep a entertaining match for a hr no body else is or was able to do that
I've always thought they should have not announced it as an Iron Man Match and just have them go to an hour-draw (and then the overtime).
I got really bored by the no-falls.

Not really. Dynamite Kid was the one who broke that glass ceiling. And even then only in WWF because WWF was always the only wrestling promotion where "big guys" were the only ones allowed to be main-eventers or even mid-carders.
Very lucky to have met Bret Hart earlier this year. He asked me my favorite match, i told him too many to name, but him vs. Vince stands out as Vince said that's the end of the "Mr.McMahon character" to which Bret replied "Yeaa don't hold your breath. 😂
Well I got to 😘 kiss Bret back in 95 or 94 when he came to Seattle he's a good guy and all he did was look at me and say what was that for?? 😉.... I'm still a fan!

There is no denying how good of a wrestler Bret Hart was. He could wrestle a slice of cheese and make it a five star match. Theres just so much negativity surrounding him when it comes to other wrestlers opinions. Sour grapes? Who knows there just seems to be to many stories. Once again a great vid my friend. Im loving these polls cos of the two you've done both times the wrestlers I voted for won. However Im still not seeing a Tito or Brain Buster vid in the making. Plz pal Ive been with you from the start. In the first 100 subscribers (54 if I remember right) will you grant me this one request plz. Your still the man. Oh by the way Im getting pissed off with other wrestling channels copying what your doing. Not gonna mention names but Ive noticed a couple times you release a vid on someone and not long after these moonlighters do the same character. Stick to what your doing cos it shows just how good your content is when piss poor channels feel they have to copy you.

That timespan definitely encompasses the very zenith of Bret's career. That's when he REALLY was, the best there is, the best there was and, arguably, the BEST there ever will be.
Bret hart was an extraordinary wrestler he might lack the mic skills but sure made up for his wrestling skills he definitely was a 10/10 wrestler it bothers me when people always said shawn was better sure he was a better showman but bret was a better wrestler.
