He is! I made a comment on one of his videos a few years ago telling him that his videos should be shown in doctors and ER waiting rooms because it would calm people down. He replied, "from your lips to their ears!". I was so happy just that he replied to me. Like Jess, he's my gardening hero.

As I am sitting here watching this listening to Jess speak about Charles. Jess, this is the same feeling 99% of your viewers feel about you. After waiting 7 months from the time I purchased my tickets to getting to meet you, that evening my husband asked "Well how was your dream come true day?" I said, "I can't even explain. She touched my heart more then you could ever know. She is just as amazing in person as I have felt about her for 5.5 years" ❤ Jess and Miah you are special special people and I feel blessed just getting to meet you! 🥰
I am 61 and trying to to grow a small homestead and garden unfortunately after selling my house in Pa and moving to a fixer upper in Nc my husband of 40 years suddenly passed away, so I am doing this pretty much alone. I so ish I could find like minded people near me to bounce ideas off of and give and get suggestions on what I can do to make this place the place me and my husband wanted it to be. So I watch all the videos I can on this journey and I’m so thankful for your channel and others like yours! Thank you!

Hello Jessica, this is Mark Stewart Wilson. I want to start out by saying when I was very young my grandfather and my biological dad taught me how to garden over the years. I could not garden because I moved all over the country and as of 20:08 around there I took a Master garden class and I passed. That taught me a lot more about gardening and I'm in a class right now to finish out knowing all about other things other than what the Master Gardener class taught me. It's been many years since I've done my last class of gardening, but I want to get into gardening next year to have it sustainable vegetable garden, herb garden and a flower garden. I do want to say I found your TH-cam channel by accident. You and Maya have been my inspiration. I'm wanting to do a garden all over again for sustainable living. I like what you're doing right now but getting back to the heat of things I've been with you almost since day one when you put out your first TH-cam channel.
The true wonderment and admiration that runs. through you when you talk about the folks who've inspired and influenced you the most is palpable and makes us love and enjoy your content more and more every day.! And now the fact that you understand that those same things makes us love and admire not only your content but you and your beautiful husband and beautiful family as well. Lightly spray varnish on the signature. Do several light layers of spray and let it dry in between. When I used to tile paint and sign things that is what I did.

I put in drip irrigation tape this year. I bought my system from Berry Hill Irrigation in VA. Between that and the weed barrier that we put down; it has been a game changer. My garden is busting at the seams this year. Love Charles! Been watching him for years

You seeing Charles and incorporating his practices is like me taking your constant advice is like me taking your advice and finally moving forward with big things. I’ve followed you since the days of you sitting on your table and having the chalkboard behind you. I’ve turned my rented waiting room into my classroom no matter where I am. Last year I made a non-profit and this year I was interviewed by my county extension office to walk through the garden, teach about trap crops and was told they will be taking my video to city cousin to show how small backyards can grow so much and help the community. So hopefully more to come. But all of that to say thank you because you’ve always been an inspiration and I’ve been stuck and scared to move forward. I’m glad you got to see Charles, hopefully one day I see you and I’m sure I’ll be that giddy too! ❤

We have an extensive backyard, but our irrigation needs an overhaul so I'm growing out of buckets on our back patio this year- as a mom of a 5, 3, & 6 month old--- I cannot deny that I am LOVING not having to weed the rows weekly. I'm thinking it'll be easier to keep an eye on things such as lettuce and herbs before they go to seed with the Green Stalk, plus cherry tomatoes and strawberries will be easy for the littles to pick! & Someday- a beautiful flower display!😄 Superrrr excited! It's fun to watch you pick all those beautiful peppers. We've had such a cold hard spring here in northern Montana that my peppers are all small and stunted. Probably no harvest this year. At least we had a bumper crop last year. Now I'm focusing on fast and easy plants like beans, peas, kohlrabi. Something will grow.
