I learned a great deal from an experience that I will never forget. This was during my wedding, where close friends and relatives had committed to attend but informed me last minute, on the day of the wedding, that they wouldn't be able to make it. I even questioned myself if I was truly a bad person and devastated even after the wedding. But for my own peace of mind and with the help of my family, I chose to move forward and accepted that the reasons they provided were valid. Life is full of surprises, and circumstances can change in an instant. However, there are moments when I reflect and wonder if I am also at fault because those individuals I invited who backed out last minute have a reputation for struggling with commitments, especially when it comes to events. Despite this, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and hoped that they would honor their commitment, particularly for a wedding. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. I have learned from Winnie on this episode that it is possible to categorize people like them, even if it may seem harsh. For the sake of my mental well-being and to avoid experiencing the same level of disappointment as at my wedding, I will consider this approach moving forward. Thanks for this!
Omggggg you guys are married already?! WaAAhhhHhh I’m still in the first part of the podcast and I’m screaminnnggggg!! Congratulations my OG couple!! OMGGGG IM SO HAPPY ❤❤
I had a friend cancelled on me at the last minute. She was in our province already and she said we can pick her up. When we were on our way, like halfway already, she said she went home already. She did not tell us she was going home 😅
