I think you’re trying a bit too hard to be positive on this one, perhaps because it’s a unique and interesting piece. However, the execution isn’t really great. Hopefully they’ll get some feedback and make some changes. EDC tools often try too hard to do a bunch of different things, suffering from doing a lot of things in a so so manner rather than getting one thing just right. I regularly use calipers, so I got excited when I saw this thing. Too bad really.
It needs to be more precise first of all. Focus more on the caliper. Add a depth gauge?Task lighting is a great idea, but what they’ve done isn’t good. The wrench and nail puller aren’t that good.
@@dw8143 I cringed so hard when he started using it as a wrench lol. No hate @outerlimitless , but people lose their marbles when someone uses their calipers to lightly mark layout ink, using it as a wrench and nail puller kinda defeats the purpose of having calipers and I feel like a small ruler would be more accurate, way cheaper, and WAY WAY lighter.
