I don't know how you could not have a sense of humor about it when you make a one-hit-wonder that is basically equal to 3 or 4 careers. It's like insane how this video paired with the song makes it explode every couple of years and there's seemingly no reasoning behind the popularity other than they hit that 0.0000000000000000000000000001% chance that an almost perfect combination happens. Hell, I linked to this from the scp-6085 article they put up like 3 months ago about the comic book she was reading. I think the ending to video might be the kicker that keeps bringing it back. "What? I'm not popular anymore. Fuck that! Time to break out again."

So I just saw this for the first time. It's March 4, 2023. I've watched the original for like-what? 5 or 55 times? And watching your take had me in tears! The other sidecar racers (which, by the way, is NEVER mentioned, and being a former motorcycle racer myself is what first drew me to this video!) he beat, when the guy he decked with a right cross mutters "Where are we? Where the hell am I? What kind of hall is this? Is this your home?" I lost it. I had to hit pause as I was laughing so hard I couldn't breath.

I would love at the end, a bunch of “Ooof ooff ooof!” or “Oww oww oowww!” as he bumps into the walls in the hallway. Maybe the girl in a high voice “OHH NO! Oh! Oh!” Some kind of distress sounds along with a cute laugh or giggle from the both at the end when they smile at each other. 😂

Okay, that was pretty descriptive! I never understood this music video that well until I saw this. Now I have a total understanding of what's actually happening in the music video.

That's because we always were. It's an interesting riff by the guys who made this. It makes for a hilarious line, and it explains how Good Looking Hero managed to survive the attack - which the original never did. We weren't that deep back in the '80s, LOL.
