Alex Speas makes throwing high velocity looks so easy; no extra movements or stiff points - just glides the entire time.
Effortless
Yup, less=more
looks like he's casually playing catch and it's 95. I wish they'd show some different camera angles to show how fast it really is.
@manager4409 bro 😂 you can't see that?
He yawns in a video then hits 98 😂
I've never seen an easier 95+. That's insane.
This is great stuff - my boys are loving it
Yawns then proceeds to throw absolute cheddar 😅
That casual 95+ is insane dude
that's the difference between these young guys spend a year going full-tilt trying to get their first 90, 91. He just casually tosses like he's playing catch and it's 95
**Yawns** then throws 96 lmao crazy
I like how this coach uses what he sees visually to give meaning to the trackman data.
Bro, he makes throwing 95 look effortless
love seeing good pitchers who aren't super well known in these vids
That is the smoothest 95 I’ve ever seen.
Speas has amazingly smooth mechanics. Really impressive.
Sweet video. Just wondering if he is tipping off his pitches by showing the ball.
He grips pretty much every pitch the same, so no. If he had a spiked grip, or a change-up, it may be a different story
Man, that guy is quiet and effortless in his throwing like it’s super casual. Like he’s not even trying!
He never misses upper back day.
No wonder he throws 95 like it's nothing lol
omg he's just casually tossing 95 right away
He yawned then threw 97
Most effortless 95 ever
Elite supinator
God supinator
Dude in the back got the TJ rub going on
Saw that too
Just effortless Heat
He really does make it look easy especially for his size he looks like he only weighs like 185 to 190 lbs.
He is 6’3 225lbs…
r we watching the same video? bro is big def over 200 tf?
catcher has really good hands as well
That man Turner is the GOAT
When his front shoulder stays closed and his hand pump is on time, he’s money. Free and easy gas. When pitches back up consistently means his arm is a little late at front foot strike.
Catcher could have had a better mitt throwing 97 should sound like a bomb goin off 😮
Excellent pitching 🔥🔥 So smooth 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Catcher is gross
This really showcases the science/mechanics behind the pitches, so cool to hear the chatter. Great channel!
Wow. I AM LOVING THIS 💯
👀👀👀
Alex knows the science behind pitch design as well as these coaches. It was nice to see people working on the design of pitches together. It was like a nerd pitching session with a pitcher that understood it
Reliever!??? Starting Pitcher!!! The Stuff is there!
See these guys using every muscle they can but don’t realize you throw harder with less muscle involvement
Only if you’re 6’10 💀
Yep. Gotta stay relaxed. Just like world class sprinters when you see their lips/cheeks bouncing around all over the place. They're relaxed and not biting down.
@@NotTodayBud Relaxed but with intent for sure, it's like you gotta really try to throw hard but you do it by throwing hard and not by flexing the muscles
MLB pitchers who could throw serious heat had legs like a horse cause throwing hard is all about creating momentum with leg drive
Bros arm looks like a slingshot god damn lol
Wicked repertoire. Good combos-mix.
Nice back drop for the pitcher… wtf
He casually throws 95 wow!
That's some easy cheese right there.
Inside Baseball is a real thing
Gifted arm.
Appreciate the video!
*yawn* easy 96.2
I need it
He's showing his hand
Almost the same grip for every pitch so that’s not a concern
first
Need to throw more fastballs. If you got 100 use it! Too many cutters on the last outing.
Just because you throw 100, doesn't mean that your fastball is your best pitch.
Maybe it's not his best pitch, but what i'm saying is he should mix it up. If I remember correctly, Bochey said he had to work on fastball command. In other words needs to throw more of those in order to hone in that control. K bye forever@@treadathletics
That's what we call easy gas.
Helluva relief ✌️⚾️
